Well it's beautiful but hot and humid here in the Garden State today with a chance of severe thunderstorms.

How did everyone fare over the weekend. I didn't do very well. I find it so hard to stick with my routines on the weekends. But, I am back on track today.

B: hard boiled egg with roasted pepper hummus

S: peanut butter yogurt

L: bean salad with artichoke hearts, hearts of palm and tuna

D: bunless hamburger, roasted zucchini and tomatoes, salad

Dessert: sf pudding

Have a great day everyone!!

Thank you so much. It is like having my own private dietitcian(s) on here, you are wonderful!!

For dinner I did eat a lot of the cabbage with ground turkey, but I sure can add a salad or brown rice. havent tried brown rice or pasta yet. And V8 is another thing I have not tried so I need to try that.

Breakfast, yes I need to go buy turkey bacon, which i like very much, just that I am not a morning eater. Late nite is my worst time, so bad I know.
So, I just have to adapt, adjust and learn to eat in the morning when I wake up.

Do beans count as fiber, I always thought before S.Beach they were protein as well????????????????????

thank you for taking the time to look at my menu and offer feedback! Love it!!!!!!

Hi liz,

I am not a morning eater either. When I get up (around 6:30 - 7:00 am) I have 2 cups of coffee and that kind of fills me up for awhile. Then I am busy getting everyone in my house fed, packed up and out the door. Then comes the dog and her daily walk (mine too, I guess). When I get in, I have my metamucil and about a half hour later, I finally eat breakfast. It's usually at around 9:30 - 10:00. So whatever works for you is fine, as long as you are eating!!

Beans are counted toward your vegetable servings and it is recommended that you get about 1/2 cups of beans per day.
