Sick, sick, sick - *sigh*. It started last night, I felt really icky, tired and had a sore throat. I managed to push myself through lifting weights with dh last night, not wanting to admit I was sick - but then just about collapsed!
My dd had a cold/fever the last few days, so I guess its my turn. My throat is killing me! Not too sure what I will be eating today...

breakfast - Kashi cereal (only ate about 1/2 of it), chai tea
snack - ? maybe a soy milk shake
lunch - supposed to be 1/2 tuna sandwhich and roasted cauliflower, but I may dig some split pea soup out of the pantry instead
snack - ?
dinner - supposed to be leftover pork roast, green beans, salad
desert - pudding or some sugar free popscicles (if dh remembers to stop at the store and get them)

Sorry you are not feeling well Michaelann - hope you get better soon. I was just reading the thread about "needing help from busy women". Why is it women are expected to take care of everyone in the household? My morning was off to a bad start - my lazy kids are home sleeping and today is trash day, so of course I have to take out because who know when they will get up. I am already late for work and on top of it the garage won't close. I didn't take anything out for dinner, both the boys have baseball tonight, DD has drivers ed........... I feel overwhelmed today. Anyhow this is what I intend to eat:

B-steel cut oats, milk, coffee
S-yogurt, V8
L-leftover pork chop & sauteed squash
S-strawberries & p-nuts
D-I think a frozen SBD entree
S-sf/ff chocolate pudding

Hope everyone has a great day!

(((((((HUGS)))))))) Big hugs being sent out to MichaelAnn and Andrea! I hope you are both feeling back to your old selves soon!! Chin up Andrea, it's only the beginning of summer break!

Here's my day:

B: peanut butter oatmeal made with 1 cup skim milk

L: asian chicken salad with LOADS of chopped veggies in a ginger salad dressing I found at the store yesterday (SBD-friendly, of course).

S: bufflao chicken breast from the deli with red pepper slices and blue cheese dressing

D: grilled steak, salad, roasted veggies????

S: SF chocolate pudding

LOTS of water today - it is so much easier to get it down when it's 90 degrees!!
