S: plain yogurt with blueberries

L: asian chicken salad on bed of lettuce

S: V8, cheese and turkey rollup

D: fajitas without tortillas (maybe a margarita for a treat!)

Have a great weekend!

I am SO excited. The scale is finally moving. It won't seem like much maybe, but I saw 211.5 a couple of weeks ago, and have been hanging around 212 - 213 ever since, even though I'm a "once in a blue moon" cheater. I don't always get in everything (maybe just one serving of dairy or one serving of fruit), but I don't eat more than I should except on very rare occasions. So, I wasn't really stressing about it, but I was disappointed that I wasn't going anywhere. Yesterday I was at 211.5 again, and this morning I was at 210! And AF arrived yesterday, so I might even end up lower in a couple of days! Dropping into a new "ten" is a really big deal to me. I even had 2 slices of pizza last night (homemade on a whole wheat crust, but it was Boboli, so it really didn't meet the fiber requirements - still better than white though). I am so jazzed! I spent yesterday at the zoo on a field trip with DD's kindy class, so I imagine I sweat a pound or more away (92 degrees, 4 hours, nonstop).

Here's the plan for today!

B - fruit smoothie
S - cheese stick
L - big salad with some sort of beans, lots of veggies, crabmeat, Asian dressing
S - triscuits with lite alouette
D - arab meatloaf, hummus w/ww pita, Greek salad
S - ?? we have houseguests, and I feel funny about having my late night snack, don't know why, just do

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Lucky you Karen - my boys are playing Legion baseball this summer and I do not have an open weekend until August! I actually enjoy watching, but a quiet weekend is always welcomed. We are having a BBQ here at work today - employee appreciation. The company is providing everything but they could not tell me exactly what - just chicken. Therefore, a co-worker and I brought some SBD friendly food of our own. I made MichaelAnn's baked beans - cannot wait to try them. Here's my menu for today:

B- eggbeater's w/ cheese & salsa, V8, coffee & milk
S- yogurt
L- BBQ chicken breast, baked beans, green salad
S- cantaloupe
D- leftover WW spaghetti w/spicy spaghetti sauce, green beans
S- pudding

There will be alcohol at the BBQ, but if it's just beer than I won't have a problem passing it up (not that I don't like beer but it bloat's me terribly!)

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Way to go Lora! Stick with SBD and good things happen. I can relate to what you are saying about being disappointed when the scales do not move downward - but when they finally do it such a great feeling.

Keep up the good work!

TGIF indeed, this has been an extremely tough week all around.

I slipped up again this morning, it was one of those rush-rush-rush-rush-OMG, I'M HUNGRY days, and the first thing I came across was not good but I ate it anyway :-(

Back on track now, and planning to stay that way........

B: an oops
MS: none, breakfast was later in the morning than usual
L: McDonalds: fruit & walnut salad and a parfait (these are OK if you skip the candied walnuts and the granola, right? I didn't have my list with me but that's what I did because I thought that's what I remembered)
AS: I have carrots if I get hungry
D: eating while driving, will check the fast-food list for portable options

Have a great weekend everyone!

My dd had her preschool graduation this morning. I can't believe she will starting K in the fall! It will be strange to have BOTH my kids in real school!
Tonight she has requested Chuck E Cheese - uggh! But we compromised and are going to go out to dinner somewhere else first, then go there to play games. Not sure where we'll go for dinner yet.

breakfast - Kashi Go Lean w/milk
snack - cashews (snuck them into her graduation!)
lunch - SBD frozen pizza, big salad
snack - soy milk shake w/banana
dinner - ? going out ?
desert - yogurt w/berries

Maybe my Chuck E. is the exception (or maybe I'm wierd), but I think the salad bar there is great! At ours, the veggies are always fresh and there are tons of choices. Of course, if I want something more than a big salad, I'm screwed, but I can usually get by there for lunch.

Chuck E. is, however, just about my least favorite thing to do with the kids. The place is a zoo unless we get there right when they open at 9 a.m. and get out of there right after we eat lunch.
