I always dread getting to the canned soups when I go food shopping because I never know what's the best for me to buy. I don't have time to make my own soups so I really need the canned ones.
Today I bought Campbell's Carb Request in Savory Beef & Mushroom Medley. Info: Serv size 1 cup (2 servs in entire can); Cals 70; Ttl fat 2g; Sat fat 1g; Carbs 7g; Fiber 1g; Sugars 3g; Protein 7g. Let me know if you need the ingredients bc there's a lot to type. I know SBD doesnt carb count but I saw in this soup that there was a much smaller amount of added sugar than in reg soups.
I usually eat the Spilt Pea and Ham from Campbell's and Progresso. I have Lentil soup from Progresso right now. If it's not too much trouble, could someone list some SBD ok soups made by Campbells and Progresso? They're the ones I find the most of where I am.

I am not even going to pretend knowing anything about this :).. but I am really interested in the answer... I really like having a bowl of soup once in a while (it will be great in the winter), but making my own is out of the question (really, really long story).
I hope someone can answer the question though ... LOL

Hi,
Here are the guidelines for canned soups:
Our guidelines for canned soup is that is contain allowed South Beach Diet ingredients and have no added sugars. 1 cup should contain less than or equal to 5 grams of sugar and greater than or equal to 4 grams of fiber.
It's so easy to make homemade soup.
I don't have a crockpot. :( Wouldn't even know what that is.
Are the soups listed in the thread you linked from a specific company? And is the soup I bought a good one? Here's the link to it: Beef and Mushroom - http://www.campbellsoup.com/carb_product.asp?brand=trad&product=beef_mushroom&prd_product_id=11948
Thanks for helping.
Even if you don't have a crockpot, you can make homemade soups VERY easily. Here's my butternut squash soup recipe. (P2 friendly)
