How long before you start to lose on p2?

How long before you start to lose on p2?

I've been on phase 2 for 10 days now and I'm the same weight I was when I started (although I did go down a pound for 3 days but I went right back up and have stayed there). When should I expect to see a change if I'm going to have one? Should I just concentrate on maintaining at this point and not worry about it? I ended phase 1 only a couple of pounds from my goal so maybe I'm not going to lose on phase 2?? I'm just not sure what to expect. When will I know I need to go into phase 3? I want to keep these 7lbs off and not risk going back up again. Also when do I add more grain/fruit into phase 2. I'm really not clear on where to go from here. Thanks so much! Joy

I'm only a couple of days behind you, I left Phase 1 shortly after you did and I too haven't seen any weight loss -- in fact I was 120 when I left PH1, and 121 after 1 day on PH2, which I just considered a fluctuation, so I'm pretending I didn't weigh in, and avoiding the scale until Monday. But I don't feel like I've lost anything since then.

I'm interested to hear the CLs' answers to your questions, myself, but I would think that after 2 weeks of no fruits or grains, that it would take the body a while to adjust to receiving them again, and it might take that time before more weight comes off. I'd keep with Phase 2 for a couple more weeks at least to see if those last 2 lbs will come off. You're SO close! That's great!
