Which oatmeal is best? All say instant

Good Morning Everyone! I have a question. Whenever I go to the supermarket - and I go to the oatmeal aisle I am confused as to which one to buy. Every product says instant. Is there a common brand that I can purchase that you can find at any supermarket?
I also wanted to add that this message board is of great help and inspiration. I have been on South Beach since May 18th, and have lost 22 pounds without starving all day. I am only 29 yrs old and my blood pressure was at about 140/89 (sometimes higher) before I started (which scared the heck out of me becaues of my age). Yesterday it was 125/80. I believe that the diet, exercise, and fish oil supplements helped my numbers go down, in a little over one month. Thank you for all your help!!

I buy Quaker "Old-Fashioned" Oats. They come in a red/white/blue canister.

They are usually tucked down on the bottom shelves or up on the top shelves in my stores - everything at eye level is the instant stuff!
Edited to give you a better link!

WOW!
Way to go! That is fantastic. That's a great result after 1.5 months! Outstanding! Give yourself a pat on the back!

You're doing great! Impressive success so far!
I buy the Old Fashioned Quaker Oats too. I put them in the microwave with water and a pinch of salt for 3 minutes and it comes out perfect every time. It makes me wonder why anyone buys the "just add hot water" packets! LOL.
I have tried to cook the steel cut and other fancier type oatmeal, but I have the worst time of it. It always boils over, undercooks or burns. I finally gave up on it and added the rest to a meatloaf and went back to Quaker for breakfast. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I use the method suggested by someone on this board (Michael Ann? Susan?) and it works great!
Boil 4 cups of water in a pot. Turn off heat and add one cup of steel cut oats. Cover pot and leave overnight. The next morning cook the oatmeal on low for 9 to 12 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
And no, I'm not stalking you ;)
