Should I go back to PHASE 1?

I am STRUGGLING! 2 weeks ago (in Phase 1) I could (and did) pass up cake, cookies, all that BAD stuff. Well, last weekend was rough. Let's just say that there were 2 (not 1, but 2!) donuts involved, and it doesn't stop there. Well, I think that 1 bad weekend has woken up my sweet tooth. All of a sudden, I am hungry ALL THE TIME, and what I want is sweets. And I can't say no! While I've been choosing SBD-friendly sweets most of the time, I'm definitely going over the 75 calorie daily limit.
I think this whole thing was exacerbated by the fact that after about 3 days on Phase 2 I gained 2 lbs. I was 125/120/115, half way to my goal at the end of Phase 1, and after a several days on 1 serving of bread/1 serving of fruit per day I was 125/122/115. So that setback left my mind thinking that I had failed. So here I stand at 125/122.5/115 and my goal is getting further and further away. I know it's my fault for the bad weekend. No, it wasn't worth it.
Here I am, 1.5 weeks into phase 2.5 lbs heavier, and my sweet tooth has returned. Does this sound like a return to Phase 1 to you experts and CLs? Is that what I need to do? Because I'm going to FAIL, and gain everything back and then some the way things are going.
If I am to go back to Phase 1, for how long should I stay there?

Hi Stephanie,
No, you shouldn't go back to Phase 1.
Thanks Maggie, I appreciate the feedback.
I've printed the "Reasons not to go back to Phase 1" thing, and I'm going to buy the SBD book to read at the pool over the long weekend (I made it this far without it, but it couldn't hurt!)
Here is today's meal plan:
B - 1 Kashi WW Waffle, 3 TBSP Sugar Free Syrup, Veggie Sausage Patty, SF/NF Mocha, 1/2 C Skim Milk
S - Celery & Peanut Butter
L - Grilled Ckn Salad with Ranch
S - Cottage cheese, Blue Bunny No Sugar Added Ice Cream Bar
D - 1/2 Ham Sandwich on WW, small salad w/ff feta, green beans
Snack - I don't think I deserve another 'treat', I'll probably just have 8 oz Skim Milk before bed
I didn't get in any fruit today, but had two grain servings. Typically I'd have fruit, berries or cantaloupe with one of my snacks, and only one grain serving, but like I said, I was STARVING! So I made a sandwich before aerobics.
My lunch may have been too small for me. Usually I have a small salad and some protein. This was just a 1/2 serving of salad at Applebee's, so perhaps that's why I was so hungry when I got home. Also, should I be having bigger snacks? Not so much with lunch, but by dinner time, I'm really hungry.
As for exercise, I run or do cardio 3-4 times per week, and lift weights 2-3 times per week, plus long walks with the dog (when it's not so stinkin' hot!) That's a recent increase in workouts, and I'm maintaining that pretty well. Probably motivated by the guilt of the bad things I've been eating.
I am surprised to see that my weight has remained where it was on Monday (not bad for a middle-of-the-day weigh in, which I try to avoid). So hopefully I haven't set myself back.
I picked up a bridesmaid dress for a September wedding, and it is a little snug. It would fit me to a tee if I could get to my goal weight, I know it would. But if I spike back up to my starting weight, I'll be uncomfortable the entire time. So there's some added motivation.
Thanks again Maggie, this board has been so helpful, and everyone is so nice. Thanks again!

Stephanie I'm not even close to being as wise about SBD as many of the ladies here BUT I wanted to give you a great big (HUG) and tell you YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE at this! It really is hard at first. I think there could be many factors involved in this slight gain you've had. Have you switched around the fruits/grains you've eaten? Most days are you still sticking to the one? I rarely if ever have more than 1 grain (I'm not a big bread/cracker type person anyway so that part is fairly easy for me) and I really limit my fruit. I stretch out those 15 grapes over an entire day :-) One tidbit I have read is that it's better to not have your fruit serving with breakfast (maybe it contributes to the sweet tooth?) I bought some of those kashi waffles but I've not had any yet. I do like pancakes/waffles and I think with the syrup (even though it's sugar free) it's going to set me back into old habits. I learned that rather quickly with the SBD cookies (I ate a ton the first day and had to get rid of them!!!)From all I've read you shouldn't go back to phase 1 HOWEVER this wouldn't stop me from maybe laying off the grains/fruits for a day or so. When I had the cookie incident I pretty much ate phase 1 style the next day and felt back on track the day after that (psychological maybe??) I've cheated just a very few times but it's always made me really turn around after that. I think it's because I view my cravings as me versus "them". I have had a few "chocolate" thoughts but I just think about how my new clothes fit and how I hated how they fit before and it passes (I swear it does work!) Also do you like coffee or tea? A steaming cup of tea can really curb my need to "munch" when it's just mindless hunger I'm experiencing. I wish you so much success on SBD I know you can do it!!

Thanks Joy! I really appreciate your encouraging words. I enjoy reading your posts, as I remember that we started around the same time, with similar goals, and you made it. So reading your posts, and the wonderful job your dh is doing on SBD (and the great example you've set for him) is encouraging for me. I've done better, I think. We went to Skyline Chili for dinner (don't know if you have them where you live, but think hot dogs, buns, yummy chili, tons of cheese, plus cheese fries) per my husband's request, and I had a really good salad for dinner there! So the fact that I could pick that over the chili cheese sandwiches gives me some hope. Sometimes I think I have no will power, but just making one decision like that makes me think maybe I do!
I mostly stick to the same grains (Kashi Waffles, or Aunt Millies WW Bread) and fruits (apple, cantelope) so maybe I'll get some berries instead next time I'm at the store. The Kashi Waffles and SF Syurp are really yummy, but maybe that's not the best way to start my day. That's part of my daily sweet treat that is spent right away. So tomorrow I'll try to save the sweet calories until after work, and then maybe I can have as Sugar Free Ice Cream Bar. So good pointers! I'll try to mix it up a bit, and I'll be strong over the long weekend (and take my own snacks to the pool! Swedish Fish are NOT loaded with protein like Salmon!! LOL)
I really appreciate everyone's encouraging words. That's what is so great about this board...just when I'm ready to call it a failure, or throw in the towel, lots of people chime in with better ideas! Thanks SO much!
Happy 4th!
