Daily Servings question!

I have been in Phase 2 for about 3 weeks or so... I know I should be up to 3 servings of starch/bread per day, but is it OK for me to only eat 1 or 2 servings only? I have a slice of SBD friendly bread in the morning with cheese and eggwhites, then I'm good for the rest of the day (as far as bread goes) - sometimes, I'll have another slice of bread in the afternoon with some natural peanut butter - but other than that, i'm fine with the 1 slice. do I need to eat all 3 servings per day? or am I OK having less?

Thanks!

It depends, everyone is different. I stalled when I didn't move up to my 3 servings of grains/starches a day. I had been having 2 for awhile, but didn't go to 3. I upped my workouts and stalled. When I added that 3rd grain, I started losing again.
But 2-3 is the recommendation, so staying at 2 would probably be fine if its working for you. I've stayed with 2 fruits, mainly because I just can't seem to fit in a 3rd most days and its been fine.

But I personally would suggest changing it up and having some different types of grains once in a while, not just always bread. Nothing wrong with bread, but getting in rut and eating the same types of foods day in and day out can lead to boredom and/or stalling. Maybe have some brown rice instead of bread, or some oatmeal/cereal instead of bread in the morning.

So I'd say as long as you are losing, it should be fine. If things slow down, it may be an area that you need to tweak.
