So how was everyone's weekend? Ours was VERY exhausting...MIL was here Sat/Sun (it went okay I guess, nothing major happened, but its so emotionally tiring playing hostess to her) We took her to the Discovery Museum, zoo, movies, swimming, shopping, out to dinner twice...in two days! The kids are so tired, it was constant activity.
Today is a busy day too, they started swimming lessons this morning, and dd starts dancing tonight. They are getting a little burnt out I think. Hopefully I can get them to bed early today!
Breakfast - Kashi waffle, yogurt w/pb
snack - string cheese
lunch - garden burger on flatbread, chili, salad
snack - cantaloupe, soy milk shake
dinner - leftover roasted pork, roasted veggies, brown rice
desert - strawberries w/cool whip

MichaelAnn - good to hear there were no catastrophes over the weekend!
Our weekend was good. Always nice to have an extra day off of work. Two days and I can keep up, 3 days and I can relax. I'm also continuing to have success on the scale. I was at 208 yesterday and today, after being at 209.5 last week, so I'm cautiously optimistic that the stall has been broken! I've noticed that when I'm choosing what I'm going to eat lately, my thought process has moved from "Is this okay on SB?" to "Is this the BEST CHOICE on SB?" Like this WW pita is okay; this FlatOut bread is the best choice. This ground chuck is okay; this grilled chicken is the best choice. I think it's made a difference.
Here's my plan for today:
B - fruit smoothie (drank my Metamucil first for the fiber / carb competitor)
S - 7 LF Triscuits w/lite cream cheese
L - Longhorn - 6 bean chicken soup, side salad w/BV
S - tuna salad on 7 LF Triscuits
S #2 - dinner's late on Tuesdays - 7 dried apricots
D - grilled chicken, roasted broccoli, salad, skim milk
S - none
Have a great day!

I'm doing okay. My grandmother's memorial service was Saturday and it was TOUGH.
TOM is here so I'm not weighing until Friday. I'll be stunned, of course, if I have lost anything. I did just buy two more size 4 skirts and a size 6 pair of pants so I shouldn't complain. Plus, relatives I haven't seen in forever that I saw over the weekend commented on how I look, so that's also good. Trying to stay positive here...
B: Kashi waffle with SF syrup, scoop of cottage cheese with a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon, coffee with Cappucino soy milk
S: None
L: Tuna on salad greens, cucumber, tomato with 2 TBS of ranch dressing, SF/FF iced vanilla latte
S: Banana milk "shake" (banana, chocolate soy milk, DaVinci SF syrup, ice- blended), broccoli with hummus, 6 triscuits
D: Vegetable pasta-less lasagne (portobello mushrooms, zucchini, squash, eggplant), asparagus, ww garlic toast
Exercise: 45 minutes treadmill (sprints and hills), weight training (triceps, shoulders, abs)

Great job on everyone's accomplishments lately!
B - Scrambled Egg Beaters w/ Onion & R/G Pepper, Veggie Sausage, 4 oz Skim Milk, SF/NF Mocha
S - String Cheese
L - Wendy's Mediterranean Chicken Salad
S - Celery & 2TBSP Peanut Butter
D - Not sure yet -- maybe the same as lunch, actually. Might be on the go tonight!
S - 8 oz skim milk
I'm also quite happy to report that the scale is back down. Of the 2.5 lbs I had gained since starting PH2 2 weeks ago, 1.5 of those lbs is gone! And I was on a full stomach from a WONDERFUL SBD-friendly big dinner at the in-laws! I'm sure after I 'emptied' my stomach later in the day, the scale was down further, so I'm back on track. Thanks everyone for your help! My DH is going out of town tomorrow (unfortunately on our 3rd wedding anniversary), but that will help keep me on track while he is gone, as well as give me time to prepare menus for his return.
Thanks!!!

Kim, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother - I must have missed that somehow. I'm sure the memorial service was hard.
Try not to focus on the scale - you're doing great if you are wearing a size 4! That number on the scale doesn't mean much at all. When I was in high school I weighed about what you do now (and I think we are the same height?) but I was a size 7/8! Right now I'm only 7lbs more than you - but TWO sizes bigger! So that scale means nothing! Even if I got down to 130, I doubt I would EVER be a size 4 - and I'm sure you look amazing! That's what counts!

Thanks, MichaelAnn! I definitely wouldn't say I'm really a size 4. You know how skirt sizes are always smaller than dress or pant sizes. But I can say that I haven't BOUGHT a size 4 skirt in... hmmm... I don't even know when. So that's good. I am consistently buying size 6's in pants though and I'm happy with that.
I'm trying, trying, trying not to worry about the scale. I know that losing inches and dress sizes is what matters. It's hard sometimes though!
You are rockin', Girl! FOUR lbs. until you reach your goal! That is such a great accomplishment!!! You must be so proud!
Thanks for your kind words and support. I really do appreciate it!!!
