Happy Monday! We had such a lazy weekend - but it was kind of nice. Friday night ds and I went to the midnight release party at our local book store for Haryy Potter...then of course we stayed up and read once we got home (I stayed up and read the whole thing, he fell asleep after 2 chapters) And then I spent most of the weekend reading the rest to him. Well, pretty much ALL of the weekend reading! So 2 days after release I've read it twice now LOL!
Today I am trying something new to get my exercise in. I changed the kids swimming lessons to 9am instead of 10am and I am going to try and exercise when we get home. Trying to do it before just hasn't worked out at all. Wish me luck this new schedule works out better. I really need to get back to exercising more.
Breakfast - Kashi cereal w/milk and banana, canadian bacon
snack - sunflower seeds (at pool)
lunch - tuna sandwhich wrap, salad
snack - melon and soy milk shake
dinner - Lemon Caper Chicken, broccoli
desert - yogurt w/berries



I am with you on getting more exercise in.
Hi, everybody! I'm back from vacation, and digging out from the pile on my desk. Vacation was good, and while I didn't eat too much that I shouldn't have eaten (2 pieces of pie was about it for non-SBD friendly stuff for the whole week), I also didn't eat what I should - no dairy for 9 days! I was only up 2 lbs. yesterday, and that could be anything, so I'm not going to worry about it. Besides, we went to visit a pie factory, so eating pie was nearly inevitable!
MichaelAnn - DD also went to a book release party at midnight Friday night. I stayed home with DS, but DH took her. She dressed up as Hermione (there actually is a bit of a resemblance). It was easy, because she was Hermione for Halloween when she was 4, so we already had the stuff, including a scarf I finished crocheting while I was in the hospital having DS (born 10/25). Everyone who came dressed up got a ticket, and you could win a trip to London. She just got 10% off a book purchase, but she decided that was better than a trip to London, because she's heard it's really foggy there! :>
Here's my plan for today. I'm so happy to be back at home where I have access to my regular foods and can get back into my routine.
B - fruit smoothie (with a Metamucil chaser)
S - Triscuits w/lite cream cheese
L - big salad w/crab, lots of veggies, Asian Sesame dressing
S - cheese stick
D - roasted broccoli, salad, refried beans, taco meat with WW tortillas
S - banana FF SF pudding w/whipped cream

B: Vegetable (portobello mushrooms, red bell pepper) and cheese omelet, 2 Morningstar veggie patties, coffee with Cappucino soy milk
S: None
L: Tuna salad on greens with cucumbers and ranch dressing, SF/FF iced vanilla latte
S: Red bell pepper with hummus; V-8
D: Lemon pepper chicken, asparagus, broccoli
Dessert: Fudge bar
Exercise: 30 minutes treadmill (2 miles); 15 minutes bike (5 miles); weight training (triceps, shoulders, abs)

I braved an "Afternoon of Desserts" wedding shower yesterday! I didn't eat any cheesecake, and the desserts I did indulge in were probably better than the cheesecake, cookies and brownies. I had a pudding dessert with raspberries (my high sugar indulgence) and some Chocolate Covered Strawberries. I picked the chair close to the fruit and cheese tray, so that kept me clean. But the desserts I did enjoy were not "slip ups" but I ate them by choice. Then I came home and ran 4 miles to make up for it! So I guess I did feel a bit guilty.
I am happy to post that I lost another lb! So I'm 4 lbs to goal, unless I decide to decrease my goal a little bit, which I may. One goal at a time though.
Breakfast: Kashi Blueberry Waffle w/SF Syrup, Morningstar Veggie Sausage, NF/SF Mocha
Snack: Apple with Peanut Butter
Lunch: Chicken Caesar salad, 1 small square piece of veggie pizza (I was in a lunch meeting, so I'm actually lucky there was a salad at all!!!!)
Snack: Cheese Stick, SBD Breakfast Bar, 8oz Skim Milk
Dinner: Probably salad, green beans and salmon.
Dessert: 8 oz Skim Milk
