Wacky Wednesday Phase 2 Check In

Wed, 07-20-2005 - 7:35am

Good Morning! It's been awhile since I started off the daily check-in so I hope those who don't know me won't mind. I did these for many months over the past 2 years but due to job and health situations I have been MIA for a few months. I am going back to work today after being sick for 4 days. I still feel yucky but I will live.

I am trying to get my menus planned and will start back in full force to lose 30 pounds I regained after losing 60 pounds back in 2003. It really helps to be accountable and do check ins and motivate each other to get our water and exercise in too. :-) I look forward to hearing your stories and cheering on your successes.

So far today:

Breakfast: Kashi GoLean cereal and 1% organic milk

Lunch: Salad most likely. I am running late and didn't have time to make lunch but I will buy something healthy at work.

I will edit and add my dinner and snacks later. Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Nothing exciting to report here. It's raining, which is nice because we NEED it!

B: Kashi Waffle w/SF Syrup, Morningstar Sausage Patty, SF/NF Mocha
S: Cantalope, String Cheese
L: Salad w/FF Feta and Red Wine Vinagrette, Pulled Pork leftovers
S: SBD Breakfast Bar
D: Probably Chicken Caesar Salad from Quizznos, got some errands to run in that area
D: 8 oz Skim Milk

Exercise: Ran 1.5 miles during lunch break, and will probably take the dog for a 2 mile walk if the rain lets up and the humidity stays down. We'll see, though.

WTG KIM!!!!! That's awesome news! Since I've been gone a few months I was wondering if you journaled or figured out why you may have stalled? I know how frustrating that is and wondered if you could give any advice on what did and didn't work for you?

Hi Maryann! I had no idea you were eating so few calories. You have a great plan to increase those so your body doesn't think it's in starvation mode and to mix up your exercise routine and eat more main meals earlier in the day. I bet you start losing again in no time! You'll be at your healthy BMI soon I just know it! :-)

Hi Stephanie!

We got a little rain too today but now it's back to heat and humidity....ugh! Your menu looks delicious today. I like Kashi waffles too. You're doing excellent on the exercise front as well. :-)

Hi Cathy! I am sitting here wondering what to have for dinner. I really need to write down my menu plans several days in advance so I don't have this uncertainty to deal with. What are you having for dinner?

Ooh your lunch sounded good today! We're stuck with heat & humidity too. It makes me feel so tired.

Have a great evening!
