I'm having a great day! I'm leaving in 30 minutes to get my nails done and get a spray tan, and then I'm "working from home" the rest of the afternoon. I'm also feeling healthy again. I'd been feeling bloated since we got back from vacation last weekend, and today I finally feel more myself.

B - fruit smoothie, oatmeal, metamucil
S - 7 Triscuits, lite veggie spread
L - on the run, probably Wendy's chili
S - baby carrots and dip
D - leftovers - brown rice, parmesan chicken, coleslaw, green beans
S - SF FF pudding

Have a great day!

Hi, Andrea! I wanted to respond to your message about the spray tan. I absolutely love it. I did the tanning bed thing briefly when I was 19 or 20, vain, and not smart enough to care that it could cause cancer and at the very least make my skin look like leather when I got older. I'm not 38, and haven't tanned in a bed since. I do a lot of yard work and playing outside with the kids (2 and 6), so I get a decent tan naturally, but as I've lost weight, my vanity is starting to come back, and I know a tan does a lot to make a too big body look better.

I don't go to one of the booths. At the spa where I get my manicures and pedicures, they have a technician who actually holds the little spray gun and sprays you. Once I got over my embarrassment about standing there in nothing but what was basically a paper thong, it was fine. It's more even than you get in a booth. Lasts about 10 days (this will vary depending on the product your salon uses) and costs $25. You get a little build-up, so the longer you keep going, the longer the color stays. You look kind of splotchy that day, but you shower in the morning, and the whole thing evens out. It does a lot to smooth over tan lines.

Let me know if you try it and how you like it!
