First day on track in awhile!

I started SBD after giving birth to my son in May but have been "falling off the wagon" with all the recent family get togethers we've been having this summer. I realized I needed to get on track if I want to lose this excess weight. Today was my 1st day in a long while that I ate completely "legal." Anyway, I hope it was completely legal, since I'm still new to this WOE, I'm still learning. Here's what my menu looked like, if you see anything wrong, please let me know ... keep in mind, I am nursing. :-)

B-1 multigrain english muffin w/ smart spread (forgot what it's called) & a glass of skim milk
S-tall decaf nonfat latte w/ splenda
L-grilled chicken & eggplant w/ salad
S-1 pkg South Beach oatmeal choc chip cookies w/ a glass of skim milk
D-Caesar salad w/ chicken (and a little parmesan cheese)

127 (pre-pregnancy)/153 (at delivery)/131 (current)/115 (goal)

Hi and welcome back!

Your menu looks like you are right on track. However, be sure that you are getting 4 cups of dairy each day. Also, you should be getting 2 from the fruits and grains list and 5 cups of veggies.

Just in case you haven't read it yet, here is a link to some information that cl-Maggie put together for nursing mothers.

Thanks for your feedback. You are definitely right, I do need more fruits & veggies. Now that I'm getting back on track, I'll be sure to add those to my snacks & meals.
