When should Phase 1 be considered?

At what point should going back to Phase 1 for a few days or a couple of weeks be considered?

I have just returned from a 5 day vacation. The first 3 days went ok, minus a couple of small unintended mistakes/cheats. The last 2 days I had fallen completely off!!!! The last couple of days of the trip I was staying with my boss and dependent on her for transportation, etc. In other words, it was very difficult to stay on track. For example, her husband went to the market the other morning and purchased some fresh blueberry muffins for breakfast. Then, we had ordered sandwiches from a shop in town....we ordered turkey on whole wheat with sprouts and tomatoes and we got chicken salad on what seemed to be a honey white bread. Then, the worst of it....pizza for dinner....my weakness! Today, on my 4 hour drive home, I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got an iced coffee (black) and.....well, ordered a few munchkins (my other weakness).

Opinion time? Should I just go back to Phase 2, now that I am home, or should I do Phase 1 again for a little while? I don't feel as though I am having any 'cravings', but I'm not sure if that is the only thing to consider when thinking of Phase 1 again????

If you aren't experiencing any cravings, I would just stick to a very strict phase 2 until you get back

Physical "cravings" directly from the foods you ate are the only real reason to go back to phase 1 (not even other types of cravings like emotional and psychological) Or maybe if you had been off the the beach for a LONG time (months, years or something like that) But with just 2 days of treats on vacation, and not having cravings - I would just hop back on phase 2. Hope you had a nice vacation, welcome back!

Thanks for the clarification you guys. I am not having any true cravings. The DD munchkins that I ate were more of an emotional cheat! Thanks again...I'm glad I have you around!
