Ive read in a few of the posts that sometimes adding more food (like 2-3 fruit/starch instead of 1-2) can jump start your weight loss if you hit a plateau. Does anyone know why this is? Does it speed up your metabolism?
Also, I have read about how you are supposed to drink water to "pee out your fat." Is this a dieting myth? I always thought that water just gave you a sense of being more full, and that your body burns calories processing the water itself. (not to mention running across the office every 30 seconds to go to the bathroom!)
Thanks!

Hi Sophie, people can definitely cause their metabolism to slow down to a snail's pace by eating too little.
