Hello everyone! I am still suffering from this terrible cold (or whatever it is) and it's been almost 2 weeks. I've been on antibiotics for a week now and still don't feel well. I sure hope this turns around soon since I'm so tired and stressed from work. This is the first chance I've had to check the board this week. ;-)

I am trying to be good.

Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal & 1 cup 1% milk, coffee (half decaf)

Lunch: All I have is a fat free yogurt and an orange. I need to plan my meals and have them ready so I won't be too tired to fix something in the morning.

Unsure on snack and Dinner but will post more later.

I am LOVING the cooler weather here the past two days. The 100+ temps were really wiping me out.

How is it where you are today?

That stinks your still not feeling well! Maybe its not anything bacterial and thats why the meds arent working? Im sure you will feel better soon!

Wednesdays are my official weigh in day for myself...I just finished my first week of Phase 2 and Im down 0.6 lbs! I dont have that much more to loose, so Im pleased.

Here's my menu for the day:

Exercise: 30 min. run, 30 min elliptical, abs and stretching

B:
1 c. coffee with skim milk
1/2 c dry Fiber One cereal
2 hard boiled eggs

S:
1 c. skim milk, warm with Equal

L:
HUGE salad with grilled chicken breast and sprinkled part skim cheddar
vinegrette

S:
granny smith apple
2 tbs natural peanut butter

D:
Chicken Capri (from SBD cookbook)
HUGE salad

S:
pistaccio bark
1 c. skim milk

and water water water all day long!

Its nice and sunny here today, a little too hot for my taste, but Im in a super ACed office all day, so Im not bothered!

Suzy - sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Even if it's viral, it surely won't last that much longer. Two weeks is a long time for a cold to hang around! I hope you're feeling better soon!

B - fruit smoothie, 7 rf Triscuits w/lite sundried tomato cream cheese
S - 1 square (.375 ozs) dark chocolate
L - big salad w/lots of veggies, chopped walnuts, mandarin oranges, chicken, and BV
S - sugar free skim latte - iced
D - grilled chicken, salad, split pea w/ham soup
S - SBD pb cup

Snack: Banana Milk Shake made with FF Plain Yogurt,Banana, Splenda, FF cottage cheese, and banana flavoring.
Lunch: Big Salad W/ BV, Tuna and 6 Triskets
Snack: Jello and String cheese, V8
Dinner: Salad, W/ pepper corn turkey
Dessert: FF Fudge Pop W/ peanut butter and FF Milk

Sorry to hear you're feeling bad, Suzy. I'm also feeling icky-- went to the doctor today and was sure I had strep. Thankfully, I don't, but I do have some bug and he gave me an Rx so I hope it kicks in soon. Between DD being sick and now me feeling bad, I haven't gotten to hit the gym at all this week, which also gets me down.

I haven't eaten much today, but here's what's planned...

B: Banana, 1 slice ww toast with Smart Balance, Diet Dr. Pepper

S: SF/FF iced hazelnut latte from Starbucks

L: 1/2 ww flat-out bread with turkey, RF cheese, lettuce, tomato, Carb Options ranch dressing; peach slices

S: Orange bell pepper with hummus, V-8

D: Not sure... nothing sounds good. Obviously, I need to fit some vegetables in though.

Dessert: Yogurt parfait (Plain yogurt with splenda and vanilla, strawberries, a sprinkle of SB cereal and a dab of FF redi-wip)

hey ladies :)

i think someone mentioned birth control.. i got so mixed up with everyones abreviations... but on this topic i decided i am going to stop taking my pill.. i thought it would help my acne but it actually didnt and since i started taking it (sept) i have experienced weight gain, hair loss, acne and mood swings. i guess its just not for me.

today all i ate was cookies and icecream!!!!!!!!!!!! at my store we had a sidewalk sale and the owner baked cookies so i just ate them. they were really great and so was the ben and jerrys hahahha! i dont feel horrible about it. i ran 3 miles today and i plan on walking the 3 mile path with my dog later. i dont think i will cheat again anytime soon.. im planning on getting back to healthy south beach eating tomorrow!

We got some much needed rain and a 30 degree temperature drop in my neck of the woods (Ohio) today. It was 93 yesterday, and 63 today at noon! I think it got up around 70 later, though. But that was welcomed!

Breakfast: Kashi Waffle w/SF Syurp, Morningstar Sausage, 1 C Skim Milk

Snack: SBD Breakfast Bar

Lunch: Mediterranean Chicken Salad

Snack: Apple w/PB

Dinner: Salad, Tuna Salad, no dessert

Exercise: Hit the treadmill for 3.75 miles of running/walking.

And I'm enjoying my nightly before bed glass of skim milk right now!

Since my recent SURGE in weight gain in the past week, I'm being strict with myself this week, and hoping to show a drop when I weigh on Friday. I feel huge, though. I feel like my stomach is bigger, and my arms, and everything. I'm hoping it's all in my mind, though.

Good Morning Everyone!


I want to thank you ALL for your sympathetic and interesting posts! I am sorry I didn't get back here last night. I went home and felt so bad I went to sleep at 7:30! LOL I woke up and it was nearly midnight so I fed the furkids and went back to sleep. I hope to be able to come back here on breaks to post individually to answer your questions but in the meantime I just wanted to say thanks and I appreciated each and every post. :-)
