Anyone out there today? I need to do a check-in and keep myself accountable. TOM is approaching and I'm STARVING (but probably not really, just wanting to eat constantly). I also bought a casserole and some treats (cookies, brownies) for my friend who just had a baby-- got them at the GREATEST bakery and I'm trying so hard to stay away from them today! Ugh.
Here's my day...
B: Kashi waffle with SF syrup, scoop cottage cheese, coffee with chocolate soy milk
S: Yogurt parfait (with blueberries, SB cereal and a dab of redi-wip)
L: Amy's Organic Black Bean Chili with a little RF cheese, V-8
S: Apple with pb
D: Grilled lemon and herb chicken, salad with BV dressing, sauteed spinach
Dessert: Not sure... hopefully a fruit shake... but maybe a package of SB cookies? Ugh.
Exercise: 2 miles on the treadmill; weight training (biceps, shoulders, abs)

I'm having a lazy day at home.
Hi Kim! That dessert tray sounds irresistable! It's been a beautiful weekend here, but tomorrow it's back to the grind -- and the return of the heat and humidity. Ugh!

S - SBD Breakfast Bar
L - Grilled Salmon, sauteed vidalia onion, cantalope and (YIKES!) a roll. I stayed out of the macaroni, though.
S - SBD Breakfast Bar (2 more and they're gone, that's a GOOD thing!)
D - Probably a BIG BIG SALAD!
Exercise - Took the dog for a walk, and I'm going to hit the treadmill in ~30 minutes for about 3.75 miles.
I haven't done so good today, as always I have sabotaged myself a little this weekend. I just read your message, Kim, about busting through the plateau, and that gave me just the charge of motivation that I needed to start getting food ready for the coming week!

Hi all,
I am visiting a few days of phase 1. Like many of those here, weekends tend to get away from me! I know I am not eating enough today, but tomorrow I will bump it up. Here is today:
Breakfast: large serving of yogurt with splenda and peanut butter
Snack: grape tomatoes
Lunch: slice of turkey and hummus with red pepper and cucumber slices
Snack: smokehouse almonds
Dinner: cheeseburger, tomato and mozzarella salad
Dessert: ricotta creme
Are you returning to Phase 1 for a couple of days to curb cravings? Or is it to keep you in check for the weekends?

Both. I need to get rid of the cravings so that I can have better control over the weekends. I had been overdoing a bit and after two days of phase 1 eating not only do I feel more in control, but I FEEL BETTER!
Excellent! That may be what I need to kick myself into gear. I'll see how this week goes!
