I must admit I am slowly becoming addicted to this board--I have no doubt it was one of the huge factors that I am successful right now on the beach. And on top of that I can't believe I have the honor of starting this thread!!
Breakfast- kashi cereal w/ skim milk and berries, a bit of left over eggplant and a v8
Snack- cup of broccoli with nsa ketchup
Lunch- white bean & pasta soup with spinach, some celery with hummus
Snack- SBD cereal bar, yogurt w/ cocoa & splenda
Dinner-big salad somewhere in nyc
Dessert- glass of skim milk & fudgesicle or fruit


Hi Diva Cat:) Thanks for starting the thread. Happy to hear that your doing well on the SB and this board. The people on this board are very friendly,supportive and you receive alot more information about the beach than any other board.
I wasn't going to post my menu today after celebrating my DH birthday yesterday at the Clams Shack eating fried clams & french fries A real bad South Beach Day. But I'm back and I decided to post anyway.
my menu today
B=veggie bacon on1sl WW bread,1 c 1% milk for tea
S=s/f jello with topping
L=veggie burger on a WW Bun with huge salald with f/v
S=Pear Blossom w) whipped topping
D=crab legs with cold veggies and a tomato salad
Dessert= fruit smoothie

Good Afternoon, All! This is my first check in on Phase 2.
B- SouthWestern Omelet (eggbeaters)and 2 canadian bacon
s- Mozz stick
L- Salad w/ Tuna - Greek Vinagrette
S- peanuts and non-fat yogurt
D- pork stir fry
D- SF Popicle
i think i actually did ok today! not great but ok! hehe
breakfast-sb cereal bar
snack-latte w/ skim milk and sf syrup
lunch- cottage cheese
dinner- grilled chicken
dessert-ff/sf pudding with pecans and ff whipped cream
ok so i def. didnt have veggies but atleast no horrible cheats!
goal for tomorrow-veggies

Meg, in addition to adding lots of veggies, you really should add a fruit. IIRC, you are fairly new to phase II, but even in that case, you should be having one fruit a day. I have to say, I find myself in this situation a lot. I don't eat much that I shouldn't, but often, mostly on the weekends, I find myself not getting in enough of what I should (fruit and dairy in particular).
Here's my progress so far and plan for the rest of the day.
B - fruit smoothie, oatmeal
S - 2 tbsp pb
L - Wendy's chili, small side salad w/ranch, 7 dried apricots
S - 7 rf Triscuits w/lite cream cheese
D - grilled chicken, broccoli slaw
S - FF SF chocolate pudding w/redi whip
