Weekend Phase 2 Check In!

Since no one started one for Saturday and its almost Sun, I thought I'd just do a "Weekend" Check in thread!
We had a LONG day today...we are trying to start getting our house ready to sell. I am feeling so overwhelmed right now with my huge list of things we need to do (its about 7 pages long!) But we got a good start today - 4 loads to the dump from the garage/yard. It was so hot and humid too, started raining/thunderstorm during dh's last load. But of course it was still over 100 degrees even though it was raining!
Sat:
breakfast - Kashi cereal w/milk and banana, turkey bacon
snack - none
lunch - SBD pizza, salad
snack - yogurt w/ cherries
dinner - Buffalo chicken strips, green beans
desert - fudgsicle
Sun:
breakfast - oatmeal pancakes, turkey bacon
snack - yogurt w/cherries
lunch - turkey sandwhich, salad
snack - apple w/peanut butter
desert - pudding



I'm curious, how far in advance do you plan your meals. Do you? I know some plan for weeks and some never plan at all. I try but never seem to have the right ingredients on hand (bad shopper, but I'm working on it).
Anyway, it seems that your weekend meals are pretty simple yet satisfying and that's how I cook my big family. So I just thought I'd ask.

I plan for the week, Monday through Friday for dinner every night and lunch on the weekends.
So every other Friday afternoon is meal planning. We generally go out to dinner that night - every payday, its our reward for making it through the two weeks LOL! Then we do our "big shopping" as the kids call it (whole morning out to Costco, Super Walmart and regular grocery store) the next morning, on Saturday. I get all the non-perishable and freezable items for the two weeks, and the perishable things for one week. Then the next Saturday I do a quick trip for just the perishables for the next week.
