Alright!
This week is going to be tough considering I'm working 10-5 every day then rehearsing a play 8-11, AND I was too sick to go grocery shopping yesterday, but I decided that I'll have to invest in my health and spend a little bit more than I'd like this week on making good food decisions in NYC.
Even though I had a distatrous weekend, I decided not to go back to P1. My cravings aren't as bad as they were yesterday, and I'll need the energy this week.
Kicked off the morning with some FIBER!
Breakfast- 2 egg omlette with spinach and cheese, glass of skim milk
Snack- nf plain yogurt with spenda and fruit TBA(thank goodness they sell seperate on the go containers of nf plain yogurt now-- I had no idea!)
Lunch- whole wheat wrap w/ lettuce, turkey, rf mayo, cheese
Pre-workout snack- fruit
Dinner- salad somewhere in the city
Dessert-glass of skim milk


I posted a Monday check in and DUH, you had already started it! So I'm posting my menu on your thread. I didn't mean to step on your toes, I just missed your post!

Well, since I did so horribly this weekend, and I need to focus myself on making decisions that are right for myself and my weight loss goals, I thought I'd start the Check In for today.
I swear, I start ever Monday feeling the same way -- oh, I ate bad things this weekend, I need to make up for it, strict Phase 2 starting now. I bet you I'd be so much closer to my goal (or even there by now) if I didn't sabotage my efforts every weekend. I wonder why I can't get that into my head! It seems so simple!
B - Scrambled Egg Beaters w/Red & Green peppers and Onion, Vegy Sausage, SF/NF Mocha
S - String Cheese, 2 TBS Chicken Salad (seriously, that's all I had left!)
L - BIG, HUGE salad w/FF Feta and Red Wine Vinagrette
S - Cottage Cheese
D - Chicken Breasts grilled, salad, green beans
Exercise - I just got off the treadmill, got in 1.8 miles during lunch. Too hot to go for a walk today, but if I'm not too beat when I get home, I might get on the treadmill again.
I know my menu looks like Phase 1, but I'm just out of fruit. I may try to work in 1/2 a WW English Muffin as my snack this afternoon, but I have an eye doctor appointment at 3, and may have to eat the cottage cheese I have with me. But by the time I get back from the eye Dr. and then from the store buying more fruit, it will be time for dinner! Quite the conundrum, huh?

Diva, as long as your craving are not that bad,stay on Phase 2,Wow!! You're really going to have a busy week. Good Luck on your play.
I know what you mean Stephanie about the weekend Its a problem for most of us.I try not to bring any anything that not SB friendly,but over the weekend it doesn't work. Something always starts heading in to house. I have no more junk food in the house, only raw veggies to snack on.
I had a very good weekend and my W-I this morning was good too I'm now have 9 more pounds to hit my goal. I found out the key to my success that I wasn't adding enough veggies to my meals along with portion control.
my menu today
B=1c Fiber One, with 1TB dried cranberries,1c 1% milk for cereal & tea
S=v8 with a celery stirrer
L=lettuce,tomato, scallon and 1 1/2 TB Shredded Cheese with 3 oz chicken breat in a WW pita.
S=1 c strawberries
D=crab leg,1 1/2c Kale & Soybeans
Dessert=1 c skim milk with s/f chocolate syrup.
