I have been eating Barilla Plus Pasta. I would like to know if this is a good choice?


Ingredients:
SEMOLINA, GRAIN AND LEGUME FLOUR BLEND(LENTILS, CHICK PEAS. OATS, SPELT, BARLEY, EGG WHITES, GROUND FLAX SEEDS AND WHEAT FIBER) NIACIN, EFERROUS LACTATE (IRON) THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID

This is a whole grain pasta and a good choice for phase 2. A serving is 1/2 cup cooked.

Is the Barilla Plus pasta an ok choice for phase 2? I looked it up and one nutritionist said no and one said yes. Please update your thoughts on this type.

I am a South Beach Diet coach and I can help you.

Barilla Plus is an acceptable pasta for phase 2. Here is a link to the previous nutritionist answer on the subject.

That's great! I love that they have so many shapes in it...like macaroni. My kids will eat the regular whole wheat pasta, but all I can ever find is spaghetti. So we've been using this too for mac n' cheese and casseroles. Now I don't have to feel guilty :-)
