Im a little confused about serving sizes for the carbs that we add in for phase 2...the serving size for bread is 1 slice, but I bought some crackers yesterday from the allowed list and the serving sizes look much bigger than a slice of bread...for example...8 Ak-Mak crackers seems like a lot compared to a slice of bread. these are sizeable crackers!

Is there something Im not getting here?

Hi Sophie,

A South Beach serving size for grains is always 1 ounce or 30 grams.

Its by weight - not volume. As Cathy said - 1 oz (about 30g) is a serving. Some bread is much denser than some crackers. So you can't really compare servings sizes of different things by size/volume.
