Hi Everyone!

I was out of town for 8 days and I sure did miss this board. Amazingly, I only gained one lb. on our trip-- I tried to stay mostly on the SB plan, but I did stray quite a bit (we were in WI and I just can't resist the terrific full-fat cheese and other dairy they have there!). I'm back on track today and went grocery shopping so I should be all set. I also haven't exercised in a week and a half so I'm planning on getting back into that groove starting Monday. I really missed it!

Here's my day...

B: 1 slice ww toast with Smart Balance, cottage cheese with blueberries

S: Diet Dr. Pepper

L: 1/2 ww flat-out bread with turkey, LF swiss cheese, lettuce, roma tomato and Carb Options ranch dressing, peach slices

S: Triscuts with alouette vegetable dip and tomato and cucumbers, V-8

D: Grilled chicken and vegetable, salad with BV dressing

Dessert: Yogurt parfait (with strawberries, SB cereal and a dab of FF redi-wip)

Glad to be back!

Welcome back! I'm going to try to be on my best behavior this weekend. I need a good weekend so that I can remind myself that I can do this WOE on the weekends. We've had this conversation before, and I'm going to try my best!

B - Kashi Waffle w/SF Syrup, Vegy Sausage, SF/NF Mocha

S - Celery and PB

L - Tuscan Chicken Caesar Salad

S - Cantaloupe, Cheese Stick, 1 Macadamia nut Chocolate

D - I'll probably grill something, and compliment it with sauteed vegetables, and a salad, SF/FF Cheesecake Pudding for dessert

Exercise - I'll either take a walk or run tonight

Welcome home Kim! We missed you!

Now its my turn ;-) I'm leaving tomorrow on vacation, we'll be gone about a week. We are going up to central coast CA to visit family and then dh and I leaving the kids with their grandparents for a couple days while we go away just the two of us. We haven't had a night away alone in over 8 years, so I am looking forward to it!

Its been a rough day today though. Why does it seem like everything hits the fan the day before you leave on vacation?? Our kitchen sink got clogged last night, so dh and spend over 2 hrs today underneath it with a snake. Not fun. But we got it working. Then I had to take a stray kitty I have been working with into the SPCA today. She is pretty young, about 3 months and VERY afraid of people (but adores my shih tzu and acts like he is her mom!). I've been working with her for a few weeks to try and get her used to people before I take her in so that she had a chance to get adopted. I've been trying really hard, and making some progress...but she is still pretty shy. But with us being gone a week, I couldn't put it off any longer, I had to take her and hope I did enough. They said they would work with her more and hopefully she will be okay. I was *bawling* when I dropped her off...the lady at the shelter kept telling me I shouldn't be driving myself home like that LOL! I must have looked like such an idiot. I miss her already...but its just not the right time for us to add another animal, with the move to TX and all. Sorry, I'm babbling. Its just been one of those days.

I hate the idea of facing a 9 hr drive tomorrow with the kids when I am already emotionally exhausted! Wish me luck!

Honestly - I can't remember what I have eaten today, it was something like:
breakfast - Kashi waffle, turkey bacon
snack - SBD bar (eaten while crammed under my kitchen sink!)
lunch - chili, green beans
snack - apple w/peanut butter and soy milk shake
dinner - ?? out or SBD frozen dinner
desert - yogurt

Aw, MichaelAnn, that makes me sad that you were so sad about the cat. I bet she'll get adopted fast though. That was really sweet of you to take such good care of her. And what a bummer about the sink. Ugh.

Good luck on that drive. We flew to WI and it was hard enough. My girls did great though, but you just never know how that's going to go, especially with a 1 1/2 year old. You'll have such fun being away alone with your DH. That sounds fabulous!

Hey, did you reset your goal to 130 lbs? I remember you talked about it at one point and I saw that you dropped another lb. on your ticker. You are doing so great!!! You need to post some new pictures too.

Have fun on your trip. We'll miss you!!!

Thanks Kim - the thought of two nights alone will hopefully give me strength to make it through the drive!

I haven't officially reset my goal...I think I'll just move it down one every time I lose another lb LOL! So for now, its 134! I'm so silly - but I hate the idea of feeling like I didn't reach my "goal", ya know? I don't know if I will make it down to 130 - maybe once the kids are back in school and I start exercising again. But I did buy 2 size 6 shorts and a size 6 pair of jeans - all of a sudden my 8's were sliding down!
