| Mon, 08-22-2005 - 7:57am |
I will be away for the next 5 days visiting relatives, so I am going to get as best prepared as I can! Here is today:
Breakfast- egg sandwich w/ whole grain english muffin and veggie sausage
Snack-piece of fruit
Lunch-big salad from work with grilled chicken, mixed greens, tomatoes & red peppers, and BV
Snack- v8 and cashews
Dinner-SBD meal bar(i'll be traveling)
Okay, I need to squeeze in some grocery store time, I'm going to bring with me a ton of portable snacks--low sodium v8 cans, peanuts, mozz sticks, SBD cereal bars, and apples. Let's see how I do this week, I'll be back Saturday!

Have a great time, Catherine!
I am dealing with being way more hungry now...I don't know if it's because I have switched to Phase 2 or if it is because the baby has dropped a little bit...i am not sure but it makes me nervous.

Hi Cathy
Know what you mean by keeping it together. My DD is also leaving for college in less than two weeks. She is my baby, so being divorced I will definitely be alone. Thank God I have my Bichon Elmo. It finally hit me last night, and I cried myself to sleep, so I didn't have a very good rest. I feel like crap. I am so worried that I will be turning to food for comfort because I will miss her soooooooo much. It definietly will be a challenge. You are in my thoughts.
Todays menu:
B: quiche, V-8, vitamins and green tea
S: raw veggies and SB friendly dressing
L: Veggie salad with smoked salmon, cheese and ranch dressing. Light jello and LF yogurt
S: PB and celery
D: grilled chicken breasts, some kind of veggie, diet pepsi

There is something wrong with my scale! The last two days it has said I weigh 954 lbs! Think a new battery might be in order!
Here's my plan for today:
B - peach smoothie, oatmeal
S - 2 tbsp. lite cream cheese
L - big salad with lots of veggies, walnuts, chicken, eggs, bv
S - apple with pb (we went to the orchard yesterday)
D - grilled chicken, roasted broccoli, salad
S - chocolate smoothie with nf plain yogurt, cocoa powder, splenda
We'll see how that chocolate smoothie turns out. I need to get in another serving of dairy, but don't want to have another fruit. My peach smoothie was delicious. A friend of mine went to a u-pick farm Friday and brought me back bunches of fresh peaches. I usually have strawberry smoothies for breakfast, but the peach was wonderful!
Hope everyone has a great day!
