Day 3...Question for the pros... :)

This morning I had the muffin cups (crustless quiche's made in the muffin tin) and a cup of milk. Snack was grapes and cheese. Lunch was a grilled chicken salad w/ tomatoes and black beans. I'm snacking on red pepper strips w/ hummus right now.

I am actually enjoying this diet which is crazy! Everything that I've made to eat has been really good. The Taco Meatballs were a big hit last night and they tasted great except they kinda fell apart in the cooking stage.

:)

BTW...I'm only on day 3 on the diet and started w/ phase 2 since I'm nursing. I weighed myself this morning and was down 2 pounds. Is that kind of weight loss normal for this early?

Hi Natalie,

Have you added any grains yet?

I guess I was hoping if I didn't have the grains, I would lose more. ??

Are the grains totally necessary?

I just had one of my Taco Balls mashed up into a FF/low-carb garlic tortilla.

:)

I definitely don't want to mess w/ my milk supply so I'm having a cup of milk at each meal and drinking lots of water throughout the day.

Thanks for your encouragement. It really helps!

Hi Natalie,

Yes, you really do need to add the grains to your diet.

Thank you so much for this information. I had a nice sized bowl of Kashi Go-Lean cereal this morning and will have 2 LF/LC wraps tonight with my Mexican Roast in the crock pot right now. ;)

LOL...that's actually where I got the recipe! It's the one w/ black beans, onions and salsa on top of a roast. Cook for 8-10 hours and it falls apart! :)

I've gotten all of my recipes from this site. I'll let you know if I find something new.
