Miracle Whip vs Mayo

ok, I have both.  Miracle Whip has ALWAYS been my favorite.

I originally got regular mayo (low fat) and I just can't get used to it...I have to mix ranch dressing in it when I make tuna salad.

so yesterday I went and got light Miracle Whip.  I see that it does have corn syrup in it still though...but 2g sugars per serving so is it okay?

Miracle Whip can be used although it is not as good a choice as mayo.

I just found an explanation from the nutritionist on this:

Miracle Whip is a cooked salad dressing that contains 50% soybean oil, while mayonnaise is an uncooked salad dressing that contains 80% soybean oil.

Since Miracle Whip contains less soybean oil, it would contribute less of the nutrients compared to mayonnaise. This would make mayonnaise a better choice compared to Miracle Whip.

Miracle Whip can be used, but it is not as good a choice. It would also need to contain no more than 3 grams of sugar per serving. The serving is the same as mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon in place of the oil at lunch and dinner, or 1 teaspoon at breakfast.
