Help - I don't eat dairy.....

I have been on the SBD for almost 5 weeks now. I've lost 9lbs so far and am very pleased with my progress, but I am kind of concerned about "breaking the dairy rule". I don't eat any dairy, at all, with the exception of 1 serving of SF FF pudding a day. I thought my string cheese counted as dairy, but then I read that it counts as protein, so that is out. I don't drink milk and I don't eat yogurt or smoothies. I have never liked milk, and if I try to drink it, it just makes me gag. The same with yogurt. Before I started the diet I bought it on occasion because my daughter sometimes asks for it(blueberry and strawberry were the only flavors I kind of liked) and I'd open a cup and get about a 1/4 of the way through and have to throw it away. What can I do since I just don't care for it, and "dressing it up" isn't going to help me? Unfortunately I am an extremely picky eater (I also do not eat beef, pork, fish or cheese other than mozz - not that those have anything to do with dairy!) and I am just unable to force myself to eat things that I don't enjoy. Can I just take a calcium supplement and stop stressing over this? I don't want my progress to stall because I don't do dairy! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tracey,
Yes, you should absolutely be taking a calcium supplement.
You're welcome!
