Yay! Broke my stall big time - finally!

Woo hoo! I weighed in at 141 today, after being stuck at 144 for about a month. The only thing I changed was that I took everyone's advice and started adding back more fruit and grain, and I made sure that I got enough dairy. I still haven't been great about adding enough starches, but I'm working on it, and I definately kicked up my fruit and dairy. I am thrilled! Hopefully this represents a real loss and isn't a fluke...I think it's real, though, because I weighed myself late in the day after eating and drinking, so if anything I think I could be less, not more. Well, thanks for the advice to all of you who helped me. I am so happy that this is working! :)

Anyway, how long did it take you before you got to that stall? I am 44, and going through perimenopause, so it seems like losing weight for me is going to be a slow thing....

Hi! Yeah, our stats sound very similar, although I'm only 17 so I haven't been having any metabolism troubles or anything. It took me about 3 weeks to hit a stall, and then I stalled out for about a month, and then just last week I dropped those 3 pounds. I can't imagine what may be going on with you to prevent you from losing more weight. Maybe if you started a new post and posted your menu, the CL's and others would be able to give you some advice. Good luck!!

Cassie,
I see that you've gone down another 2 pounds since you posted this.
