Tuesday Check in!

Hi everyone!

Well, this past week has been absolutely nuts. I moved my sister into college last week(a four day event), and then worked 3 double shifts in a row to make up for it financially. Between being emotional about my sis, to then working doubles with ZERO time to make it to the grocery store, I pretty much ate awful things, if only out of necessity for the most part. I have not had time to go to the gym whatsoever(I usually go 5 times a week). I also have not been getting 8 hours of sleep, and for me that really makes a difference.

SO, I weighed in today with a 4 pound gain, but I am not going to freak out. The good thing about my sis being gone is that there will be no tempting food in the house. I am going to clean out the pantry a bit and then do an SB grocery shopping that should have happened 2 weeks ago!

So this next week of SB I will be upping my fruit/grains by one. I am going to get back in gear with my fiber supplements and flax. The only snag in my plan is a 21st birthday party friday and wedding on saturday. However, I am NOT going to use these things as an excus` to just "fall off the wagon" until next monday! So here is my eating plan today "transition day"-grocery shop and get rid of non-sb food, wednesday thurs--full sb days, friday, saturday-full sb days with probably more red wine than recommended for p2 LOL.

I am so glad I wrote all of this!! This week doesn's have to be an SB disaster unless I make it one.

Thanks for reading, this message board is to helpful to me. I guess that's it for now!

Tonight I'm heading to our local organic store, Capers, to see whether or not they carry the sugar-free chocolate soy that many on here are crazy about. Hopefully they do! I find that Canada doesn't always carry a lot of the products that are available in the States, so hopefully this isn't one of those things! I would LOVE to have chocolate soy back in my life!!!

Cheers,
Stef

Here is what I've eaten today (and what I plan on for the evening):

B: Kashi waffle with sf syrup, 1 c. nf plain yogurt

D: Grilled chicken breast with salsa and lf sour cream, big salad dressed with a little olive oil and BV

Oh my, I have not been getting my veggies! I need to work on adding that, for sure. Plus, I haven't had a chance to exercise since last Thursday- my grandma came up for the weekend, and then the past two days have been hectic getting back into the school routine. I know, I know...that is no excuse! I am going to go do some free weights right now and then tomorrow I'll get to the gym for a swim and the weight machines.
