Ugh I'm on the road again today! This diet has become a cinch for me at home; now I've got to master the road. Here's some good news, I had a 4 pound gain 2 days ago because of a crazy week away from home, BUT 1 pound of that already flew off. ALSO, even though as of now I've only lost 6 pounds, my body is definitely changing because I dropped a dress size! Yes, a needed a dress for the wedding I'm attending, and spent a confused 5 minutes in the dressing room because the size 8 "didn't fit right". Sure enough the 6 fit me! Yes folks, I am wearing a size 6 BCBG dress! How crazy!!

Alright, here are my hopes for today:

Breakfast- mock french toast, 1 kashi waffle

Snack-strawberry smoothie

Lunch- will find a wendy's and get small chili with side salad

Snack- 3 mini triscuit sandwiches w/ PB and sf J

Dinner-decent salad at a restaurant I hope!!

Dinner tonight is tentative, as I'm heading to a 5pm funeral. My friend's 18 year old brother and his girlfriend tragically pass away in a car accident on Saturday night. They were hit by another car, and died instantly. Anyway, I'm not sure how much of an appetite I'll have after the service. With two younger brothers, myself, I can't imagine the devastation of losing one of them. It's bound to be a very emotional evening.

I do have a question, though. I'm not sure that I've got enough food on my menu. What do you guys think? I'm on Day 26, and I haven't yet ONCE cheated at all (like, no sugar, no bad starches, no junk food, NADA), and yet I haven't lost a single pound. Is this normal??? I only have about 15 - 20lbs to lose, which isn't much, but shouldn't I be seeing some kind of change yet? Is there something I'm doing wrong, or should I hold out a while longer to see if there are any changes in my weight?

I typically have natural peanut butter with my celery, but I only have it every other day now, since I realize that nuts can be a weight buster. This is my second week on P2, so I'm up to 2 servings of grains and fruit a day...next week I'll add another of each.

Anyway, any feedback on my menu would be much appreciated! Just wanna make sure I'm doing this right!!

Cheers,
Stef

Yeah, Catherine on that size 6! That's happened to me before too and I'm always thinking, "huh?" then it hits me, "oh, I'm down a dress size! How cool is that!?!"

After an on/off 2 weeks with the SBD, I weighed today and am only up one lb., which is amazing because I've only worked out 3 times in 2 weeks and have been pretty bad (margaritas, pizza, chips and queso, white flour tortillas several times, cookies, cake... you get the picture...). I'm back on track today though and am glad to be back in my SB routine!

Here's my day...

B: (in a hurry) Cheese stick and a small banana, coffee with chocolate soy milk

S: None

L: 1/2 ww flat out bread with turkey, cheese, lettuce, roma tomato and Carb Well ranch dressing, salad with roasted garlic and parmesan dressing

S: Apple with pb, milk

S: Red bell pepper with hummus, V-8

D: Grilled breaded talapia, broccoli, salad with BV dressing OR grilled chicken and vegetable fajitas (no tortillas) and black beans

Dessert: Yogurt parfait, blueberries, SB cereal, FF redi-wip

Exercise: 2 mile run on the treadmill, weight training (biceps, back, chest, abs)

Have a great day!
