3 week stall ideas?

I've read some great stuff here about plateaus and stalls. (I loved seeing that you broke free waverider!). So I havent been panicking...but it does get discouraging. Here's my deal. I started SB on June 15. (167/150/142) I'm 5'9 med to large build and have been running about 5 days per week throughout summer. I run about 30 min and do light weights 3 times per week. However, I'm a mom of two and a full time teacher who went back to school coinciding with the stall.
So I can say of course I'm stalled my wonderful summer is over and I'm probably traumatized :). My question is if my exercise routine has slowed, (but activity level is up), sleep is reduced, stress is way higher, but diet remains the same...do you think I'll start losing again at some point? Or did I screw myself up by placing myself in a workout routine I can't realistically maintain while I'm working. I have been squeezing in 3-4 runs per week, but that has been a big challenge and Im not sure it will keep happening with the daylight hours dwindling.
I havent posted a menu but I think I'm doing ok since it's been working thus far. I've got my dairy,2-3 grains and 2 fruits...water may be too low. It's really hard to pump the H2O when my class periods are 90 minutes and I cant run out for potty breaks.
Thanks for any input!

Hi! I started SBD only 2 days before you did, so we are just about at the same spot. As you know, I stalled too (I'm glad you noticed my post!). All I can tell you is to stick with it! I'm a student and just went back to school, too, so I also have decreased my exercise simply because I haven't had time this first week. Luckily, though, even though I went from exercising a lot to barely exercising, I lost two more pounds this week. So I bet that it's fine that you decreased your exercise- you're still getting a good amount of activity! My guess is that you'll start seeing results soon and the scale will drop. Maybe you're like me and will stall for a while and then drop several pounds at once and be back on track. Definately stick with it, don't give up, and the stall WILL end eventually. Good luck with everything- teaching, south beach, etc.
Best wishes,
Cassie

Activity and exercise aren't necessarily the same thing, I don't think. It may be that your body is just adjusting to that change and will soon kick back in. If you post a menu, it will give us a better idea of whether there's something that can be addressed right now. Best wishes for a great school year.

Thanks for the response! Your stats are encouraging to me -- didn't know you'd started the same time I did. I can't believe you're 17-- wise beyond your years. (I teach high school so I do see my share :) I noticed your b-day on your bio and had to post back to let you know I too am a 1/4 B-day girl. I had a student last year who shared that date and we commiserated on what a rough time of year it is for a b-day. I will carry on with SB even if I stall a lot longer...the diet is a lot easier than being back in school is. Good luck to you with school too.
