Hi Everyone,
Just thought you all should know, I saw the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on bway yesterday. I won the lottery ticket pull and sat 1st row. The show is absolutely hysterical/amazing. I laughed so hard I cried pretty much through the whole thing. If you get a chance, this show is one to definitely catch, and is great for everyone on different levels--adults, kids, etc.
I am headed to the grocery store and armed with some new recipe ideas. This week, I'm going to try Cathy's Southwestern Bake and spaghetti squash patties.
Today: Breakfast-Kashi cereal w/ skim milk and 1/2 banana
Snack: DD coffee w/ skim milk and SF chocolate raspberry syrup
Lunch-cajun fish w/ side salad and cup of broccoli
Snack-6 triscuits w/ laughing cow, V8
Dinner-chili over lettuce
Dessert- plain yogurt w/ berries
**I'm chilling out on nuts and grain/fruit servings for a few days just to get back on track.
I hope everyone has a great day...my thoughts and prayers lately are for everyone that has been affected by the hurricane.

Today's Menu:
B: flax toast w/ avacado & 4 non-fat turkey breast slices; 1/2 cup of non-fat plain yogurt
S: Chinese pear; sliced whole green pepper
L: homemade Greek salad; 8 whole wheat non-fat Triscuits
S: 4 celery stalks w/ 2 tbsp natural peanut butter; SB banana muffin
D: plain baked salmon; steamed green beans w/ light margarine; steamed broccoli
S: 15 grapes
~2L of water

Haven't been here in a while but I need to get back back on plan. Posting keeps me honest, so here goes:
B oatmeal with sf maple syrup, milk, coffee
S banana
L chicken ceasar salad
S pear - maybe some string cheese
D crockpot pork chops with saurkraut

Well, turns out my scale wasn't really broken. When I picked it up to mop, I must have switched the dial from lbs. to kg. The good news is, I really did lose another pound. I know - big deal, 1 lb - but I'm losing very slowly, and a pound is a really big deal to me!
Here's my plan for today.
B - fruit smoothie (strawberry)
S - 7 Triscuits w/lite cream cheese
S #2 - 2 tbsp pb (Knew I wasn't going to eat much @ lunch, didn't want to arrive hungry)
L - Wendy's chili
S - apple, cheese stick
D - stuffed eggplant (brown rice, 96% lean ground beef, spices), roasted broccoli
S - FF NSA vanilla pudding w/ redi-whip

I'm getting back on track after two days of dessert (cake on Monday, ice cream yesterday. Yikes!). The morning after the cake, the scale didn't show any weight gain, but this morning after the ice cream the scale said 142! Of course, I know it's not actual fat gain, but still, seeing that higher number bums me out. Oh well...I'm sure by my official weigh-in day on Sunday, I'll be back to 139 (at least I really hope so!).
Here's my day:
B: Mock french toast with sf syrup
S: none
L: ww tortilla (counts as 2 grain servings) with sliced turkey breast and 1 tsp pesto
S: 1 c. ff yogurt, slice of honeydew
D: chicken breast, steamed broccoli and beans, big salad.
DD: none
I'm crossing my fingers that I weigh less tomorrow. I'm trying not to panic, because I consciously know that I didn't really gain any *real* weight, but still, it's hard not to freak out a little!

Hi Everyone!
I've been so busy lately... I even FORGOT to eat lunch today. All of a sudden, it was 3:30 p.m. and I was like, "Gosh, I'm soooooo hungry!" and I since I never let myself get hungry on this diet, I was confused for a minute until I remembered that I hadn't eaten since breakfast. I ate a huge breakfast though so I wasn't *too* bad off. Here's my day...
B: (at a restaurant with a friend) Eggwhite omelet with swiss cheese, tomatoes, bell peppers, and mushrooms, 1 grapefruit, coffee
S: None
L: None
S: None
Early Dinner: Sauteed chicken with artichoke hearts, green olives and onions, ww penne pasta with tomato sauce, salad with roasted garlic and parmesan dressing, steamed broccoli
Dessert: Yogurt parfait with strawberries, SB cereal, FF redi-wip
No exercise today.
