Subway's Whole Wheat Bread?

Is Subway's whole wheat bread "acceptable"? I had no idea what to have for lunch today and a co-worker offered to go to subway so I had their turkey sandwich, no mayo, all the veggies on whole wheat. Did I mess up?

Condiments & Vegetables:

* Vinegar

* Light Mayonnaise
* Olive Oil Blend
* Lettuce
* Tomato
* Onions
* Cucumbers
* Jalapeno Peppers
* Banana Peppers

Breakfast Foods:

* Cheese & Egg Omelet
* Ham & Egg Omelet
* Vegetable & Egg Omelet

Atkins®-Friendly Wraps:

* Enjoy the wrap in Phase 2, but choose fillings that are South Beach Diet™-friendly. (Be sure to check the amount of saturated fat so you don't overdo it.) You can use the lists of foods above as a guide.

The whole wheat bread is not on it - so I am assuming it is not "whole grain" bread (whole wheat and whole grain aren't necissarily the same thing, we avoid the "enriched" whole wheat flour that a lot of whole wheat bread is made from) The wraps however ARE okay - and any sandwhich can be made in a wrap!

I'm just a lurker, but I used to work at Subway for a few years when I was in school, and know the nutrition info of pretty much everything there. I don't believe that Subway's bread is WHOLE wheat, it is simply wheat. It has no more nutritional value than their Italian (white) bread. Both have only 3 grams of fiber, and the white bread actually has about 10 less calories than the wheat. If you want more info on their bread, you can look at their website, and it has the nutrition info of everything listed on there.
