Hi everyone--

I'm really preoccupied today because my period is 2 weeks late and I can't ignore that anymore. I just read some posts though that other people skipped a period earlier on in starting the SB. A couple weeks ago before the weddings and stuff, I was burning 500 calories a day on the elliptical, and walking 40 city blocks round trip to work. I was also eating around 1200 calories w/ 1-2 grain servings and 1-2 fruits. I am HOPING that has to do with it...any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I also have an audition and a class today..hopefully I can go focus on that!

Breakfast-cereal w/ skim milk and blueberries, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, v8
Snack-broccoli w/ ketchup, mozz stick
Lunch-chili(starting to get sick of finally) over lettuce with cheese
Snack-yogurt w/ raspberries
Dinner-SBD pizza

Today's Menu:

B: SB ricotta creme; 1/3 of a cucumber
S: SB banana muffin; granny smith apple
L: flax toast w/ plain tuna & 3 slices of light cheddar; 10 baby carrots; 20 snap peas
S: 4 celery stalks; 6 whole wheat Triscuits
D: homemade Greek salad
S: 15 grapes

I'm being heavily tested this week, let me tell ya!! On Sunday it was my little brother's birthday, and my Mom served her to-die-for homemade chocolate cake with french vanilla ice cream. Somehow, I managed to resist while every single other family member around me ate a piece.

Today, a co-worker dropped off a giant bag of Lays in our department, and I've had to walk by it about 20 times already!!

But, I'm happy to report that today is Day 38, and I've not yet cheated once. Now that I've come this far, I'm resigned to turning down all goodies until I've lost a couple of more pounds. Plus, I want to make sure that I when I do ultimately treat myself, that I make it REALLY good!

Speaking of which, I have no idea how much I weigh these days. I started at 120lbs, and I'm definitely losing inches, but I don't know how much actual weight I've dropped. I think I'm probably around 115lbs now, but I'm not about to step on a scale and find out that I'm still hovering around 120lbs.

Besides, the point is that I feel better and healthier. And that's what really counts, right!?

Catherine- Break a leg at your audition and let us know how it goes! Haha now that I've discovered you're into musical theater I swear we're long-lost sisters or something - my period is two weeks late, too! Strange coincince, huh? For me, it's the second time this has happened and I think I'm going to be skipping it again. Fine with me!
But you should go get a pregnancy test to clear your mind of any worries!

I'm home from school sick today and don't have a huge appetite, and all that I really want to eat is bread and carbs because dairy and cheese and meat do not appeal to me at all right now. I'm definately not going to worry about getting in the right servings of everything. I'm just going to focus on sleeping and getting well!

Hi Everyone!

I gained a lb.-- not sure if it's a legitimate gain or not-- so I'll wait until my w/i on Friday to see for sure. Looks like I'm in yet another stall that could last a while. Sigh.

Here's my day...

B: Coffee with soy milk, banana, cheese stick (in a hurry)

S: None

L: (Out) Huge grilled chicken salad, roasted artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes with olive oil and garlic, various olives and a pickle

S: Cup of milk

D: SB pizza, salad with BV dressing

Dessert: Plain FF yogurt with splenda, SB cereal, blueberries and a dab of redi-wip

No exercise today, but I do have a TWO hour session with my trainer tomorrow. Ouch!
