Good morning everyone!
Thanks for everyone's input yesterday. I was highly emotional and weird all day, broke down in my performance class, but eventually bought a HPT. (which i have never done before!) Of course and thankfully it said NP--as I said I really didn't have anything to worry about, I just hadn't had a period in 58 days. I am clearly PMS'ing right now.
Admidst all of this, I had an audition to go to. And ladies, I cannot lie to you. With all this going on, Lunch became 1 dark chocolate bar, and Dinner became a plate of tortilla chips with shredded cheese and salsa. Yikes!
The audition went well if you were wondering, callback tomorrow so who knows.
Anyway, after I calmed down and watched the season opener of "The Biggest Loser" on Tivo, I am now calm and motivated to continue on my path and get back into my exercise habit.
Thanks for listening! HERE is my menu which IS exactly what I'll be eating today. lol.
Breakfast-mock french toast, v8, skim milk
Snack-yogurt w/ berries and 1 TB PB
Lunch-chili over lettuce w/ shredded cheese, 1 piece of flax bread
Snack-Broccoli w/ ketchup and an apple
Dinner-SBD pizza with side salad, skim milk

(((HUGS))) I am glad it all worked out yesterday. :)
Catherine, I'm glad to hear everything worked out ok and that the audition went well!
I am home sick again today (I went to school for the morning but am now home to take a nap until I have to return to school for musical rehearsal.) So from now (10:00) till 3 I will rest and drink tea and try to get better!!
Here's my plan (I'm editing it now at 1:12 because it has changed since my original!):
B: 1 Kashi waffle with sf syrup, 1 c. nf plain yogurt.
S: 5 almonds
L: (out with my mom) Greek Minestrone Soup (mostly all veggies, a bit of quinoa grain which I don't think is legal but I'm going to forgive myself...I wanted soup and this was the only non-cream-based soup that seemed legal.)
S: green grapes (probably 2 servings worth, i don't know exactly), diet soda.
D: Sauteed veggies and tofu, salad.
Lots of water all day.
I'm sort of playing it by ear today...I don't know how hungry I'll be or if I'll want snacks or anything. Right now, I feel sick to my stomach so I'm going to wait for that to pass before I consider eating anything else.
Have a great day everyone!

Catherine - I'm glad to hear you're feeling better today. I know that "what if I'm PG" feeling, and it can really be all consuming!
Here's my plan for today . . .
B - blueberry smoothie
S - 2 tbsp PB
L - huge salad with garbanzo beans, lots of veggies, boiled eggs, chicken, asian sesame dressing
S - probably a SBD snack bar
D - tuna salad in WW pita, fruit cup, raw sugar snap peas w/dip
S - FF NSA vanilla pudding w/redi-whip
Have a great day!

Today's Menu:
B: piece of flax toast w/ light margarine; 3/4 cup of non-fat plain yogurt; 10 snap peas
S: Chinese pear; 1 medium sliced red pepper; SB banana muffin
L: homemade Greek salad; 10 baby carrots
S: 4 celery stalks w/ 2 tbsp natural PB; 8 whole wheat Triscuits
D: plain baked salmon; steamed green beans; steamed broccoli; 15 grapes
S: venti sugar-free vanilla non-fat steamed milk
*****
Talk about a whole lotta veggies!! I'm still slacking a bit in the dairy department, though, so I'm meeting a friend tonight for coffee and will order my favorite: a sugar-free steamed milk. I think the venti sized is about 20 oz, so that will give me just over 3 servings of non-fat dairy for the day. Given that yesterday I didn't have any dairy, I think I'm in the clear to go over a wee bit today!
Cheers,
Stef
Catherine, I'm glad you're feeling better.
Here's my day...
B: 1 slice ww toast with Smart Balance, 1 banana, coffee with chocolate soy milk
S: Mixed nuts (too many)
L: 1/2 ww flat-out bread with turkey, LF cheese, roma tomato, lettuce, Carb Well ranch dressing, salad with BV dressing
S: Cucumber with hummus
D: Grilled talapia, roasted yellow and red bell peppers and green beans, baked sweet potato with cinnamon
Dessert: Yogurt parfait with blueberries and redi-wip
Exercise: 15 minute warm-up on the treadmill; worked with my trainer (focused on upper body)
Have a great day!

Well there seems to be quite a few new names here. I have meen MIA for the past, wow has it been that long, 9 months. I wish I could say that I was losing weight while I was gone. Unfortunately I think I weigh more. Oh well, have to start somewhere. I've been phase 2 except I've been eating sweets and Junk Food. So I guess that's not really phase 2. I guess in my mind I want to follow phase 2 but by the end of the day I pretty much ate whatever I wanted.
So here I am trying to get back on the wagon. My husband is in Iraq and I'm trying to lose weight because I want to fit on the rides at Disney Land when he returns. Well mainly I want to lose weight because I've been morbidly obese for the past 11 years and it's getting a little old. I'm tired of looking this way and tired of feeling tired. It's time to make a change and stick to it. My daughter is 7 and will be 8 and I don't want her embarassed of her mom and I know she wants me around for a long time as do I.
Well I didn't mean to write all of this but it felt good.
Talk to you all later,
Tricia
