Hello everyone,
I am going to go to the gym today, even though it could be easily avoided!
Breakfast-kashi cereal w/ skim milk, V8, an apple w/ 1.5 TB Peanut Butter
Snack-none
Lunch-chili over lettuce (now i'm really sick of this, but it is the last container of it that I put in the fridge, the rest is frozen!)and 6 triscuits
Snack-peach & mozz stick
Dinner-cup of spaghetti squash w/ tomato sauce and a tuna melt on whole grain flax bread
Dessert-glass of milk

Today's Menu:
B: SB ricotta creme; 1/3 of a cucumber; skim milk
S: granny smith apple; SB banana muffin
L: flax toast w/ plain tuna & 4 slices of light cheddar; 18 snap peas; 10 baby carrots; 1/3 of a cucumber
S: 8 whole wheat Triscuits; 4 celery stalks
D: homemade creamy herbed chicken w/ red peppers, broccoli & snap peas; skim milk
S: 15 grapes; nsa hot chocolate

So, I'm not really sure what's wrong with my diet/body, but today is Day 39, and I still haven't seen any changes! I'll admit, there are some pants that fit a wee bit looser, but others that are tighter than ever. Obviously, the plan is to stick with South Beach (because I've got to see results eventually, right?) but I am getting frustrated with the lack of change I've experienced. I know I don't have much to lose (15-20lbs, tops), but shouldn't I be seeing some form of change? I haven't weighed myself (I hate scales), so I always guage my results by my clothes and by my measurements. So far, nothing is happening. Ugh.
In happier news, I paid off my Mastercard today!! That was a huge rush for me, since it always seems to be racked up with crazy purchases. I almost booked a last-minute trip to Puerto Vallarta for next week (it was an *amazing* deal), but I resisted because I want to live without credit card debt for awhile.

Here's my day...
B: Scrambled eggs with shredded LF cheese, Kashi waffle with SF syrup, coffee with soy milk
S: Peach slices
L: 1/2 ww flat-out bread with turkey, LF cheese, roma tomato, lettuce, Carb Well ranch dressing, salad with BV dressing, yogurt with pb
S: Red bell pepper with hummus, V-8
D: Chicken and white bean chili, salad with BV dressing, roasted green beans
Exercise: None today.

Better late than never! Here's what I've done today.
B - peach and strawberry smoothie, 1/2 a 1 egg omelet, 2 turkey sausages (cleaned the kids' plates, but it was SBD friendly)
S - 2 tbsp pb
L - big salad with garbanzo beans, chicken, lots of veggies, boiled egg, ranch dressing
S - 1 tbsp pb (I know - I'm over on the nuts a little), 1 pkg. SBD wholewheat crackers
D - vegetable soup, hummus on whole wheat pita
S - FF NSA vanilla pudding w/redi-whip

Here is my day:
B: Kashi waffle, 1 c. plain ff yogurt (I've had this every morning for about 2 weeks so I'm getting a little bored, but I still love it. Tomorrow maybe I'll have eggs instead.)
S: none
L: ww tortilla, 1/2 leftover chicken breast, 1 tbsp ff sour cream, salsa.
S: apple
D: grilled salmon, grilled onions and zuccini, big salad dressed with flaxseed oil and BV
DD: probably canteloupe
I had 3 grain servings today, which I've never done before, but having 2 ounces of starch at lunch kept me going longer in the afternoon, which is good. I'm thinking that in the future I am going to have protein (eggs) at breakfast instead of my waffle and then continue to have a whole tortilla or pita at lunch, because lunchtime is when I really need food to keep me going. I weigh in on Sunday, so maybe on Monday I'll start doing that and see if it has any negative affect on my weight loss.
