Phase II Friday Check-In!

Hi everyone,

Major cramps today but other than that I can't complain! Cassie--3 ounces of starch will probably be just fine for you, I know personally it's given me so much more energy, and no stalls yet. I definitely do it on days when I exercise or run around alot--today I'll be sitting here cramping so it might not be necessary. Calorie-wise, I am tending to have slighly smaller portions of protein, and maybe 1 less cheese a day, so there is no difference there! Let me know if you stick with it and if it's working for you.

Oh and good news! I bought a pair of khaki capri's to get me through the summer. They have been getting looser but i've ignored it b/c I don't want to spend money on clothes. Yesterday I quickly burst across the room in them to say hi to a friend I haven't seen in awhile, and they literally almost fell to my knees!! Great and embarassing!

Alright..let's see here:

Breakfast- kashi cereal w/ skim milk and a banana
Snack- dunkin donuts small coffee w/ sf caramel syrup
Lunch-Tuna melt on whole grain flax bread w/ side salad
Snack-Fruit if I get to the grocery store! If not v8 and mozz stick
Dinner-Cathy's Southwestern Bake and some veggies! I'm not much of a cook so let's keep our fingers crossed!

That's it, have a great day everyone!

-Catherine

I put on a skirt this morning that I just bought two weeks ago, and it was enough too big that I had to put a pin in it to keep it up. It definitely wouldn't have fallen further than my rump, but the hem would have been hanging around my ankles. Good on the one hand, but this is the first time I've worn it. Think I'll be paying to have this one taken in.

Here's my plan for today.

B - fruit smoothie (mandarin orange)
S - almonds, SBD wheat crackers
L - Greek salad w/gyro meat on top (going out)
S - probably none - leaving early today
D - vegetable soup, hummus on WW pita
S - FF NSA pudding w/redi-whip

Have a great weekend!

Last night I ended up discovering a great new way to make milk more appealing to me! I mixed a couple teaspoons of unsweeted cocoa powder with a couple teaspoons of DaVinci sugar-free cookie dough syrup. It created a nice chocolately syrup, which resulted in a DELICIOUS glass of chocolate milk. Since finding sugar-free chocolate syrup in Vancouver is near-impossible, I'm so thrilled to have made this discovery. Now I'll be looking forward to drinking milk!!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Cheers,
Stef
