Orowheat 100% whole wheat bread?

Is this "legal". Somewhere there was a list of legal breads, but I can't find it. In any case, it seems that if it says 100% whole wheat (as advised in the book) it should be okay. Also, what about the Orowheat 100% ww english muffins?

Thanks.

Hi, I think I found your bread online:

http://www.oroweat.com/varieties.html

I clicked on 'sliced bread', then 'whole grain' on left panel, then the '100% whole wheat' kind.

I love and use a lot of the Oroweat products. We don't have most of the other brands listed on the Bread and Cereal list in my area, its really a list geared toward the eastern part of the US and I am on the west coast. So I have had to make due. Some of the Oroweat products are better than others. There are a lot that are not even listed on their website. For example they have a whole line of *smaller* loaves, 27g per slice. One of those is a "Sugar-free" variety that has 3g fiber for a 27g slice, its sweetened with artificial sweetener. They have one variety (my kids favorite) that is a 38g slice with 4g fiber, its "new" - I can't remember the name but the package has a gold label. Some of their products are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, but some are sweetened with honey or molasses instead (ALL bread has to have *some* sugar for the yeast - I like to get the ones with the natural sweeteners) So you really have to read each individual label, even within the same brand!

I was raised on Oroweat, they were one of the first "whole grain conscience" brands in my area and its the brand that takes about half the bread aisle in most stores here. My mom was a health nut and the only bread she ate was their Honey Wheat Berry bread! So I have a soft spot for Oroweat!
