Hey Guys!
Someone just bought in a bag of Kernels Air-Popped 'Low-Fat Butter Salt" flavored popcorn, and I'm wondering if I can have any!
Here is the nutritional info (which I plucked from their website):
LOW FAT BUTTERSALT
Per 20g serving
(approx. 3 cups)
Energy 86 Cal
Protein 2.2g
Fat 2.0g
Carbohydrate 14.7g
% of calories from fat 20.9%
What do you think?!
Cheers,
Stef

Hi,
Is the ingredient list included on their website?
Hi Cathy,
Thanks for your help!
I can't find the actual ingredients on their site, but they do air-pop their popcorn. Might there still be oil in it?
Heh...I'm so uneducated when it comes to this stuff! I usually just avoid these types of food products altogether, but the smell of popcorn in the office is driving me crazy!!
Cheers,
Stef
Update - I called one of the stores to double check what type of oil they use, and she said that they used a bit of sunflower oil, but not hydrogenated.
Is that OK?!
Thanks again!!
Cheers,
Stef
Thanks for your help and advice Cathy!

Stef, that stuff looks good!
Thanks for investigating, Maggie!!! I really appreciate your help!
If you're ever up for some good tasting flavored popcorn (and can wait 24 hours for shipping!!), I definitely recommend it. Their popcorn is popped daily, so it's always fresh, and their flavors are amazing. I definitely can't wait for the sugar-free versions, because their caramel popcorn is awesome.
Maybe one day they'll get in the States, too! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!!
Thanks again!
Cheers,
Stef
