Phase II Monday Evening Check-In!

Hello everyone,

I haven't even read up on this board yet, but I just wanted to say hello and get a check in back up!!

Beachwise, the past couple days have been rough. I have been staying in other people's apartments for the past 3 nights, with no access, time, or money for food at ALL. Fortunately I am home and will be back in the swing of things starting tomorrow morning.

The interesting part is while I've been eating very unhealthfully, I haven't had ALOT of any certain thing; I didn't even have the urge. (Regardless I feel lethargic and queasy) Some highlights of the past few days include sour patch kids, cookies w/ whipped cream, jalapeno poppers, and cheese pizza.

I'm feeling very motivated! I hung out with alot of my friends I haven't seen since May and they all were extremely complimentary. (I need to use that as motivation to keep going, not to rationalize cookie sandwiches LOL) So I'm going to make a grocery list, find a new recipe to make a huge batch of, and have a good SB week starting tomorrow.

I missed this board! I hope everyone is doing well! Where is everyone else?!

Hi! I was going to start a check-in myself if nobody else did, but luckily you did so here I am. I have been feeling incredibly overwhelmed recently and it has really shown in my eating. However, I am back on track and have had a perfect South Beach day thus far!

Here's my menu:

B: 1 c. nf yogurt, banana with 1 tbsp peanut butter
L: small whole wheat tortilla (1 ounce) with sliced deli chicken breast and 1 tsp pesto; an apple.
S: red pepper strips and a string cheese
D: Buffalo burger with tomato, onion, mustard, and sf ketchup; big salad.

Day 2 on Phase 2. It was a busy day. Kids were out of school so I took them and a friend and her kids out to my sister's place (a hobby farm and house in total reconstruction). It is an hour+ drive. I packed carrots (for the kids), celery (for me), laughing cow wedges, cinnamon apples (kids), bread, a jar of pb, v8, ice water and chips (for kids). It was tough to get my meals and snacks in today with such a busy day, so I'm a bit short.

The kids had fun. I was hot and tired. I even drank a diet coke which is unusual for me. But we had a picnic (my sis is living in a travel trailer while they reconstruct a 1920 home), rode bikes dodging cow dung, petted cows, walked down to see the BRAND new calf (probably born while we were there) and generally hung out.

B: low fat turkey sausage (the last from the freezer, yea!), v8
L: 1 slice bread, 1 tbsp pb, 1 cup celery, 1 cheese wedge, v8
S: 1c ff yogurt, 2 tbsp pb, splenda
D: haven't decided.... I'm not hungry. have leftover pork tenderloin but might have a veggie/black bean/feta salad with greek dressing. That would easily get me 2 c veggies in to finish out my day.
S2: ?glass milk?, ricotta snack?, I just don't know if I'll even have time.

I'm still reading the book and stuff on here so I'm learning. But I think I'll wait and add a fruit in a few days. I bought a couple of fresh plums (love them) and have some great frozen berries in the freezer (blackberry, blue berry and marion berry).
