I hope everyone has a great day. Oh and for what it's worth, I started taking metamucil a week ago, and it has helped tremendously in helping me feel full(not to mention regular). I also started taking 1 fish oil or flax pill per meal and I think that has helped as well. I think these are nice things to step up to when phase 2 starts getting tiresome.

Good Morning everyone!
Today will be interesting for me. I don't have much in my fridge, and I don't want to get groceries because I'm off to see my daughter tomorrow who is in college in another province. I will be gone for almost a week, so there is no point in getting groceries. So here it goes:
B - fried egg(olive oil) with 2 TB, lf cheese, V-8, vitamins and green tea
S - usual raw veggies and dressing
L - open face sandwich with lean chicken slices, lf cheese, tomatoe, lettuce. Lentil soup. LF yogurt with light jello
S - Maybe half a mozza stick rolled in a slice of chicken sandwich meat.
D - Left over pork tenderloin, yellow beans, greek salad.
S - 1 cup ff butterscotch pudding
Karen
well it's 1 and I am just getting around to eating lunch and didn't get a morning snack...
B: 2 kashi waffles with PB and SF syrup, 2 turkey sausages
L: venti skim latte, grilled chicken breast salad (a BIG one) with carrots and cheese.
I hope nobody minds if I continue to post my menu here even though I'm pregnant. I'm planning on staying on P2/P3 throughout the pregnancy except that I'm giving up most artificial sweetener. I'm 1 1/2 lbs. away from my goal and probably won't hit it which is fine, but I do want to stay on track, eat really healthy and try not to gain a ton of weight throughout the pregnacy (I only gained 12 lbs. with DD #1 and 18 lbs. with DD #2 so I'm hopeful. I ate soooooo healthy both times!). Here's my day...
B: Scrambled eggs with LF cheese, 1 slice turkey bacon, 1 slice ww toast with Smart Balance coffee with milk
S: 1 package Kraft SBD ww crackers
L: WW chicken and cheddar pizza, salad with BV dressing
S: Apple with pb, cup of milk
D: Baked talapia, green beans with lemon, broccoli
Dessert: Yogurt with blueberries
No exercise today.
Have a great day!
Kim

I'm getting ready to wage all-out war with the neighbours that live directly below me. They recently built themselves a greenhouse on their patio that sits directly below my bedroom window. Well, said greenhouse has a nifty tin roof that makes the sound of gunfire when rain hits it (not exactly a soothing sound at 4am). I haven't slept a wink in 3 nights!
What I would give for a good night's rest!!
Cheers,
Stef
Thursday, again, was not as good as it should be, but ok.
B: 2 slices morningstar farms breakfast "bacon" strip, V8
S: none?
L: slice sara lee ww bread (5 g fiber), 1 tbsp PB, 1 cup milk (on the run lunch)
S: V8 again?
S2: 1 cup lima beans with 1 tbsp smart balance light and salt
D: this is where I went a little off (besides low on the veggies earlier in the day)
7 ounces (raw) deep sea scallops (3 scallops)
1.5 cups bell peppers and onions
0.2 c sliced tomatos
(durnit I forgot to put the mushrooms in there!)
0.5 cup ff half and half
3 tbsp evaporated milk
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp romano and parmesan cheese
This dish was wonderful. But it is "intended" to be served over pasta and I didn't want the pasta. What I "should" have done is decreased the milks a LOT more than I did and added some water too. It calls for heavy cream. I'd never made the recipe before at all but had always wanted to try it. It is a cajun style recipe and I use Paul Prudhommes seasonings. I think it is a really fun way to get 2-3 cups of veggies in. I'm probably going to try it again this weekend. It is great with shrimp or chicken too. I'll let you know if I can get the milks quantity down. And I couldn't find my skim evaporated milk which would have helped a great deal.
