Wow. Thanksgiving was crazier than I thought. I did pretty well. Just had a few treats and a lot of roasted veggies and turkey(white meat). It was a very good day. Yesterday, however, I left the house early in the morning to go shopping without eating breakfast(big mistake!) and ended up eating a very non-sbd friendly breakfast bar that they handed out at Old Navy. I was soooo hungry when I got home. The rest of the day I was on track so today I'm feeling pretty good. Here's my plan for today:
B: 2 veggie sausage patties and 3/4 c. yogurt with almond butter
S: a banana and a cheese stick
L: white chicken chili, a salad and maybe a ricotta creme
S: celery with laughing cow or cottage cheese
D: grilled chicken parmesian, a salad and 1 serving of ww pasta
S: a ricotta creme (if I didn't have it at lunch and if I need it)
I'll add another cup or so of milk in there somewhere
Have a happy day!

Nili where do you get the almond butter do you put it in the yogurt?
B: 2 scrambled eggs and some v-8 juice
S: orange and cheesestick
L: grilled salad from McDonalds
S: fudgepop
D: chicken veggie soup
S: cottage cheese and celery
Well, I'm having part 2 of our Thanksgiving today. We are getting together with my inlaws for T-day, so I'm not sure what I will be having....but I know that I am going to have the following:
Late B: Omlette with spinach, muchrooms and a bit of chevre cheese and 1 slice of multi-grain toast with no butter.
Snack: yogurt and a 1/2 banana
dinner: Turkey (white), a little bit of my SBD HM cranberry sauce, roasted greenbeans with garlic, an SBD friendly sweet potato croquette, and ...maybe....some BN squash - depending on what my sister-in-law put in it. I will have dessert when I get home....pumpkin souffle.
I have GOT to get back on track on Sunday! I already feel as though I have gained a ton this weekend! Of course, it could be water retention too!
Hi,
It's getting harder and harder to stay on track over this very long weekend with my oldest daughter home from college wanting all sorts of comfort foods.
Jennifer-
I get my almond butter at our local healthfood store. They have a machine that grinds it right there for you so you know there's nothing added. Also they have it in jars with the peanut butter. I also want to try their cashew butter and macadamian(sp?) nut butter. They're just a lot more expensive!
HTH!
