!st day of P2-Mmmmm-cereal!

I have always had difficulty transitioning into Phase II the first couple of times I attempted the SBD. I have been reading all the posts and threads about moving to P2 this morning and am having my first meal today. I am nervous but think I can do o.k. especially if I write out my meals.
I have really missed my cereal. I haven't had time to go to the store lately but we always keep wheaties on hand. I know that they are not the super best but they did fit the category. 30 grams=1 cup, 3 g. fiber, 4 g. sugar, and 100% whole wheat. I had wheaties for breakfast with skim milk, 2 slices turkey bacon, coffee with skim. I will montitor and see how I feel in a few hours.

You were very smart to have that serving of protien with your cereal...that will help a lot in staving off possible cravings from having a lower-fiber cereal.
Thanks for your response!!
So far so good. I didn't really get hungry this morning-but we were at church so I couldn't really eat anyway.
After church, we had sandwiches, chips, appleasauce and veggies. I had: lean ham slices (Healthy choice lunchmeat), carrots, water, and a couple of chips (I know those were bad-even my 8 year old said "have the carrots, not the chips!!). so I had a cheat of maybe 5 chips and 2 reduced fat wheat thins. But right back on track. I did avoid the hoagie rolls, applesauce (sweetened), and for the most part the chips).
For my snack I am having yougurt with flaxseed adn almonds (12). I will continue my water drinking today too. Exercise will be a walk this afternoon. My son has basketball games so I just need lots of willpower to avoid the concession stand, but I normally do pretty well.

Don't forget about how much easier it is, when you bring your own snacks!
