Ok so the last time I was on South Beach I went to Phase 2 very cautiously. I started with one fruit and one serving of "good carbs" as soon as I did my weight loss haulted for 7 months!!! Which is when I fell off the wagon over the holidays. I really want to move to phase 2 cause my cravings are under control, but I am scared to death the same thing is going to happen...any advice?

Stacy, can you clarify this some more, please?
In addition to Maggie's questions - I was wondering, did you ever go beyond just one fruit/grain per day? Or did you stop there? I stalled when I failed to enough servings per day. When I added MORE servings I started losing again. I lost the best and most consistently when getting ALL three of my fruits and grains per day.
If it helps calm your feasr any, out of the 63lbs I lost, I lost 55 of those pounds eating a full 3 servings of both fruits and grains. And once I reached my goal and moved to phase 3 I stopped counting my servings. Some days I eat 4-5 grains - and I have STILL continued to lose 15lbs beyond my goal weight, even with EXTRA fruits/grains. So try not to look at them as the enemy - they have actually *helped* my weight loss!

Hi Stacy,
About a year ago, I was put on a thyroid med for several months.
I think you didn't add ENOUGH food in especially for exercising 6 days a week. And a size 10 is awesome! I know at 5'1" it may not seem like it. I wonder what your percent body fat and cholesterol numbers are?
