Losing more weight in phase 2??

From what I read, phase 1 is a time when most people lose a lot of weight and then in phase 2 the weight loss slows. I actually seem to be losing more weight in phase 2. I dropped from 152 to 144 in about 5 weeks of phase 1(yes, I know it's only supposed to be 2 weeks). I actually stalled at 144 and was yoyo from 145 to 143 so I finally decided that enough is enough and switched to phase 2. In the 2 weeks since I switched, I have dropped down to 139. So in 5 wks of phase 1, I averaged 1.6 lbs and in the 2 wks of phase 2, I averaged 2.5 lbs. I actually lost 4 of those lbs in this last week. A friend of mine says it's because I am doing the flylady and that she also lost 4 lbs. Now I am just trying to get up the time and energy to add some exercise. I want to do something aerobic. I have a great strength training and toning video that I could use but I also want some lite, aerobics that I can add to it. When the weather is nicer, I want to start jogging with my dog and I have been using that as an excuse for not exercising but the jogging will go easier if I start doing something else here at home first.











Your friend might be right but it is likely because you are NOW eating enough to get your metabolism going. I didn't know you'd stayed in phase 1 for so long!! Phase 2 is called the "weight loss phase" for a reason!

That's good to hear on Phase 2. I am doing Phase 1 for 1 more week which will make it 3 weeks for me but I am doing it solely because I was bad this last week and ate too many sugar free candies and cheese snacks, so this next week I am going to cut back and see how it goes. =)
I am hopeful Phase 2 will be much more profitable for me though and I am looking forward to slowly incorporating good carbs back into my system, as well as my fruit!

It's not "bad" on Phase 1 to eat extra snacks that are on the Phase 1 Foods To Enjoy list!
