Phase 2 plan - can someone take a look?

Hello -
I'm on day 1 of phase 2. I am very anxious about making the shift. I feel like I've just gotten accustomed to phase 1 and am very nervous about adding anything in. Here is my plan and I'm wondering if it makes sense:
I'm going to stick to exactly what I've been doing on phase 1 except each day I'm going to have 1 serving of fruit and 1 serving of grain. Today I added berries to my yogurt & tonight I'll have 1/2 a Thomas' mini bagel.
I know that variety is what keeps us going and keeps us sticking to any diet, but I feel so uneasy about shifting from phase 1 to phase 2 that I'm afraid to start doing anything really dramatic.
Is my basic plan okay?
Thanks so much.

Hi Ellen,

You are not alone in being nervous to start Phase 2. Your plan is a good one. Just take it slow and monitor for cravings. Weight loss will typically be 1/2 to two pounds per week on average on Phase 2 depending on how much you have to lose. Some weeks you may not lose anything. At first, you may even gain a little, but it is usually only temporary.
