Well as much as I was elated in my last thread, I am just that unhappy and aggravated. This morning I awoke with the feeling that I have not lost anything and to add to that, I felt that I had gained. Against my better judgment I weighed and sure enough there was almost a two pound weight gain. I could not believe it. I can not contribute this to water weight gain because I have not had a period in many years. The only thing I can contribute it to is the fact that I am eating too much. I guess a calorie is a calorie whether it comes in the wrappings of cake at 100 calories or 50 stalks of celery. I am not going to weigh again until my weigh-in day (Saturday) and I am going to cut back on my portions. I have been fixing two veggies, beans and a meat for dinner.
At first this morning I decided that I was going out for breakfast and eat whatever I wanted and then do the same for lunch. The difference in lunch would have been I was also going to have ice cream. Thank God, something or someone intervened. I had SBD cereal with a cup of skim milk and one Morning Star Susage pattie for breakfast and at lunch I had three chicken strips and diet coke from McDonalds. I really do want to do this right and stay on program. But I also want to lose weight.
Thanks for listening.

Josie,
(((BIG HUG))) I am sorry you were so unhappy this morning!!
Please don't undo the progress you have made!! It is normal to stall periodically while on Phase 2, but if you can persevere, you WILL see success!! The best way to break them is to change what you have been eating and increase or change your exercise routine. Here is some information about stalls or plateaus on Phase 2:

I guess a calorie is a calorie whether it comes in the wrappings of cake at 100 calories or 50 stalks of celery. This is NOT true! The main principle of this way of eating is to consume the healthiest whole foods possible, avoiding highly processed and refined foods.
