Hello,
I've been on the Carbohydrate Addicts diet of and on for several years (interrupted by pregnancy and birth, LOL) and most recently have lost about 10 pounds. I've been on a stall since November and felt a little too confined by the guidelines of the diet, so am trying South Beach as it just feels healthier overall. My goal is to lose 15 pounds by the end of May (my 40th b-day).
I am starting in Phase 2 since I've been restricting carbs already. I'm looking forward to seeing how my body reacts to this plan and have stocked up on whole grains, beans, skim milk, etc. I realized last night I hadn't had any dairy so I took 2 cups of skim milk, added a little Sweet & Low, some SF DaVinci's Vanilla syrup and a spoonful of instant decaf coffee -- it was yummy! Does that sound like it fits Phase 2?
