Hi Allison,
Your menu looks perfect.
I've been at the same week for almost three weeks now and have actually gone up a little too!
Allison,
Just keep at it, it will happen!!! Good Luck!!! Think about how much more healthy you are getting :)
Amy :)
Hang in there Allison! If you're working out that much, then you're surely getting leaner... replacing that fat with muscle (heavier). Stay the course, girlfriend -- keep it up, that scale HAS to move eventually!!
:-)

Cathy, could she maybe cut back on fruit and grains a bit?
¾ cup Kashi Go-Lean (1 serving)
1 cup brown rice (2 servings)
2 cups blueberries (2+ servings)
I may find myself in this situation some day so would be helpful to know if cutting back actually helps...

Allison is choosing to eat her grains or fruit servings all at one time instead of splitting them up.
so the South Beach diet does not recommend cutting back on grains or fruit to get through a stall like this? I read on the plateau link at http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-fbsouthbeach/?msg=13465.1 that decreasing portions could be helpful. I'm confused...

Hi Mags,
No, we wouldn't cut back on our grain or fruit servings.
