Moving on to Phase 2

I am ready to move to phase 2 on Monday as it will be 3 weeks since I started SBD phase 1. I know that it is not recommended to stay on phase 1 more than 2 weeks, but before I started I was stuck in a very long period of "bad" eating and I wanted to make sure that I get out of it with no cravings. I am glad to say that the cravings are under control now and I am ready to move on. As of this morning I have lost no pounds since Sunday (last day of week 2) but my clothes continue to fit better everyday, so I am very motivated.
I thought that I would post a sample menu just to make sure that I go into phase 2 with a solid understanding:
Breakfast
1 cup Feber One Cereal with 1 cup skim milk
2 pieces Canadian Bacon
Coffee with 2 tbs ff half&half and 1/4 cup skim milk
Snack
1 cup ff yogurt with 2 tbs natural peanut butter
Lunch
Grilled chicken over lettuce, tomato, broccoli and ff/sf balsamic dressing
1/3 cup black beans
sf jello
Snack
2 slices ff turkey breast wrapped in lettuce and mustard
1 apple
Dinner
Grilled beef with mixed vegetable (eggplant, squash, red peppers etc...)
sf fudgesickle
Thanks

Maggie,
The box says 1/2 cup is equivalent to 30g, so 1/2 a cup it is. Thanks for the information.
You're welcome!
I weighed in this morning and I have gained 3 pounds since last week :(
I had lost 4 lbs on WW, lost 4 lbs P1 Wk1, 2 lbs P1 Wk2, 0 lbs P1 Wk3 and gained 3 lbs P2 Wk1.
I am a bit discouraged. But I don't understand how I am fitting into clothing that I wore when I was about 10 lbs lighter following WW. I have been exercising 6 days a week and even started weight training this weeks (did Firm 3 times this week). I really want to stay focused and motivated.
When I had read other people's posts about gaining weight while I was on my second week on P1, I kept thinking "This is not going to happen to me. I am way too focused and determined. I am doing everything right." But now it's my story too.
I am going to take a deep breath and keep going. I can't quit now....I've worked too hard. Any advice on what to eat and what to cut out?
Hi banoor,
Please don't let the scale be the be-all-and-end-all of what determines if you keep your motivation up.
Maggie,
Thanks so much for the encouragement. I actually stepped on the scale again today and the 3 lbs are gone. It's really strange how this works! So that really means that I lost 1 pound this week and I can live with that. I was just heart-broken over the 3 lb gain.
I am not giving up on this becasue this is the best I have felt in a very long time. I love the energy and the light feeling that I have following this plan.
Thanks...
I'm really glad to hear that!
That happens to me, too! Sometimes it's just a matter of what you ate or drank the day before. Sometimes it takes 2-3 days for somethign to show up. If you've been on track, then more often than not it will work itself out in a day or two.
Glad it was just a short-term annoyance! LOL If it ever happens again, don't sweat it. It took me most of a year to lose 50#, and another year of maintaining it well, and there were definitely weeks when I had weight gain for no apparent reason. It always balanced out the next week either in weight loss or pants fitting better. Given the choice, I'd rather have my pants fit better than to see a certain number on the scale!
